I work on my machines as when it comes to refurbing Dysons, I only trust myself. I did buy a refurb Dyson years ago and it was barely "refurbed". Brushbar was clogged with hair, filters dirty and the motor sounding really rough.
Those pink and purple and De Stijl DC04 are so very 90s. I wish we had the DC04 here in the USA. It would've given Fantom a run for its money. We got the DC07 after Fantom Iona Industries tanked.
Love this video, dc04s rock! I put a dc07 motor in my pink / purple dc04 a bit ago and funnily enough it smells of electrical burning too how weird! I suspect its the new design of the pattern motors its slightly different and seems cheaper
I haven't noticed any changes with the pattern motor. What motor did you use? If you do smell burning smell, I think it's supposed to be normal? The smell goes after a while.
@@jayambermsp8000 Just the standard 1600w dc04 dc07 etc dc33 pattern motors think its the MTR299 that i installed. the better style was ydk type yv2200 but not sure. I heard there was a faulty batch at one point but could just be me.
They are very good colorful Dyson DC 04 uprights vacuum cleaners I can't remember the pink and purple one or the purple zorb one but I remember the de still one on the Dyson DC 04 that one is my favorite cause I like the rainbow 🌈 colour and it sounds very healthy and quiet and powerful

The color looks cool from this 3 dysons dc 04

Now try putting a 330 Airwatt DC07 motor in a DC04, it'll be a beast
Nice DC04. One of my favourite machine. I know this isn't relevant, but has the MTR299 motors quality gone down?
Thanks! As for the MTR299 motors - Not that I know of. I know beko1987 had one from a bad batch apparently but they’re still decent motors
@@parwaz7861 I've had 1 or 2 go bad. But generally, they are really good motors.
This makes me feel so old
i’m surprised they didn’t do a DC03 De Stijl
Me too! It would have been beautiful for them to exist
And dc05
Do you plan on getting a DC04i ?
I have no intention of getting a DC04i
Dyson really got it right with the 04. Just a shame they're so brittle now
They really did make a fantastic machine for their time! The late DC04s are still robust luckily and can handle daily use
You may not known that there an image of a dyson dc 07 de stil I seem
Luckyy
Hi
Hi!
I wonder why most people who refurb Dysons don't do a good job on them? Is it because they're lazy?
