I'm from Alabama and I met Farmtruck and Azn when they came here last year. They are some down to earth folks and you are to Luke. Glad I got to watch this from your point of view. Peace
@@motorfab mate that was awesome 👌 I pissed myself when you opened the container. You say you can't show the results.. around 15 minutes mark oops also sadly you said hopefully you can get a rematch.. enough said. That photo on the start line.. straight to the pool room. SICK
What a incredible journey, Luke...! Thanks for taking us all along...! Sorry I wasn't there to witness history...! There will be many more, I know... Well done, Brother... ! Strength to Strength, my Man...!
Had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country during the pandemic, working nearby. While most things closed, got a chance to make an event at Willowbank that was one of the highlights of my trip. So very glad to see the stands full; when I was there, crowd was about 100 people... Very nice video, and not only congrats to you for all of your hard work, but for participating (with enthusiasm!) and keeping the hobby going.
Wow, good for you Luke, what an opportunity to go against Farmtruck, from a call out. Win or lose in my eyes you have already won, like you said a lifetime of memories.
Thank you for such an amazing opportunity. You guys are the real deal, true old school good guys. And that truck is amazing! Thank you very much for the experience.
Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed the video, and your humble demeanor. You sir!...are a true gearhead. From one to another. I look forward to following your channel. 👍
So, your "overnight" success happened after a bunch of long, hard hours, weeks and months of work, "all done on your own" with a bunch of help from others who pitched in beyond what was expected. Very, very well done I say! I genuinely don't know the outcome of the race against Frarmtruck, at this point, but in my opinion you're a winner, regardless. Keep it up. P.S. Ripper vid mate, in editing ,starring and narrating.
It's cool that you appreciate street racings instant green. Also, the two nations coming together to enjoy a mutual passion, fast dangerous racing,, awesome!!. Thanks 👍
Congratulations!! Overnight success can be overwhelming. You deserve your Notoriety for successfully calling out Farmtruck and getting your race. I will be waiting for the tv show to air and see the results.
Brother I have Been watching Australian auto sports for years. I love it. Well done. Hard works pays off brother. Much love from the US. I would love to rep your gear here in the US
Congratulations to our brothers and sisters from down under to let us yanks in to there world and take us along for the journey. I LOVE IT. MANY THANKS 😊
@@motorfab agreed mate it’s a playing field open to many. Also you need a large scale the pic of the Monaro and farm truck side by side wheel stands for the shop 👌🏼💪🏼

I only have one thing to say to y’all farm truck was an amazing thing when I first saw it come on year lovely from China or Japan. Please forgive me there, back in the day we built a 57 Chevy pick up truck with a 402 under the hood and nobody should touch us. It was the fastest machine in the valley. I’m a tell you something, took a 69 Chevelle and stripped it and installed every piece into 857 Chevy pick up truck defenders with flapping to win, but it would kick ass really saw form truck. It reminded me of my time back in the day, it was like my story being reread, thanks for the memories farm truck. LOL today me and my family build some pretty serious machines around Pennsylvania here little boys come down they’re doing yawls turbos. Used to live right here in my area. Pretty cool I wish I would’ve moved west so I was a sport move. Hey, y’all have a good one keep the shiny side up is the dirty side down.
Well done bud u are the epitome of the true Aussie giving it all you got .well done ur a legend and hope the dog is feeling better 💪💪💪💪🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 oy oy oy
im hoping you are checking notifications but now that its open at "the bend" are we gonna see this sexy junkyard monaro at the dragstrip at the bend anytime soon? please tell me yes!
@@motorfab omg yes. honestly i would die to see it here in SA! i've been unable to travel due to health but the dragstrip here is only 15 minutes away haha!
The thing about them being scared and needing the hit was obviously just a joke? Both left on green? Looks like it went well! 7000rpm stock bottom end and nitrous is wild!
Nope! I gave them the hit. The video shows their tire cracked one frame before mine. They wanted to know how I did it.. But some things I don’t share 😉 7000rpm with 450hp nitrous on top!
@@motorfab we’ll agree to disagree there. Green light and both cars go. We don’t run green light for a hit. You go on their go on a proper hit race. Definitely looks like it was fun however! Good job representing Aus.
@@alexmann3309 the front of the Monaro starts to come up first, so there is no way he reacted to seeing Farmtruck move. Not that Farmtruck needed the hit anyway to get the job done.
I sure didn’t make the rules, they did. I complied, but no I didn’t watch for them to move. I watched a hundred videos of the Farmtruck leaving and noticed a pattern in something they do. And I took a shot at it. They confirmed their tire cracked before mine but mine being small tire the car reacted faster. It didn’t matter because they had too much power for me anyways! There was a rematch in the street and things were somewhat a lot closer!
It sure is 4000-5000lbs but with 2500hp it had a little too much for the stock bottom end 454 in the 3400lb Monaro on a 255/60/15 et street. But I gave it a red hot go!
We all know who got the "hits" lol But. If its good for racing it doesn't matter in the end. There was never any doubt about the American technology used on the cars 🚗 what the outcome would be for the majority of our aussie friends. That pales to the benefits reaped by both countries, the tracks, and racing. And in my book thats a win for all

Is that a Big Block Chevy with a Holly Dominator? Looks all American to me. 😂😉
Are you running any Dumps on the trans? If you are you can loose those to tighten up the converter also. Just a thought
The old junkyard monaro definitely isn't that advanced, Its just running a basic th400 setup.
Much respect bro!!
Thank you.

Munro for the win....
