Many thanks. Gave me the confidence to open my X1 to confirm the battery looks done, get the model number, and order a replacement. Awesome!

Gotta learn to do a little research. It'll be difficult to remove, but you can see it here. www.ebay.com/itm/284724240348?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=BWEr4-3WTXi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=NQxVFnxHSb6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Hi, is there a way to remove the bios battery?
I think it uses the main battery as the bios battery.
hi can you advise how to remove the touchpad buttons for this model? I need to remove them for cleaning and I'm worried to break them.
Don't
@@ItsBinhRepaired Haha OK!

I have replaced the battery because I got d pop up to replace it & unplugging d power cord would turn off d laptop.
But with d new battery, d system is still not charging d battery & unplugging d power cord will turn off d Lenovo X1 carbon laptop.
What else could be d problem?
@@joseviveiros6743 d motherboard.
on a X1 Carbon Gen2 where is the CMOS battery located as cant find when open the battery section
Maybe the main battery
Google says under the motherboard.
how can i increase the ram in that laptop?
Buy a laptop with more RAM and throw that one away. It's not upgradeable.
Where is the cmos battery on this???
Built into the battery.
Where is the bios battery?
If it's not in the video, I have no idea. Either built into the main battery or under the logicboard.
From where did u buy the battery?
