The longest gap between penalty shot goals was 11 and a half years from November 95 when Igor Larionov scored, to April 2007 when Danny Cleary scored on one. The shortest time was 5 days, when Valtteri Filppula scored on two penalty shots 5 days apart 🤣
i know Kane doesnt. liked him personally or seemed to but Chicago in the miserable 22-23 had those 2 and Domi locked in as a line for like the first 30 games. it was the worst line i've ever seen in the NHL. no hyperbole. later they'd put Kane and Domi back together but w Kurashev, the line was great. so maybe chemistry issues.
Redmond yelling "penalty shot" at 1:09 and again at 11:15. 35 years apart and he hasn't lost a step.

they can be very very rare. the attempts are rare enough. this is just conversions.
I see 3:18 being a penalty...but how is it a penalty shot? Ref's discretion? Was it because Fuhr was down?
there was no defending player between Yzerman and Fuhr. refs can be stupid about when they do or don't call penalty shots, but that was textbook.
The puck was covered by a skater in the crease by a player other than the goalie.
