Quick painting of different tree trunk and bark using Photoshop. The brush I used is default Photoshop brush "Watercolor Loaded Wet Flat Tip". But you can use any brush of your personal preference.
You probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf recently =)
ok ill tell you what this dude isnt telling you in the video use two brown color swatches one for the darkest parts of tree and one for the lightest. set the opacity to around 10%-25%. right click use brush 63. toggle the brush panel change the brush tip shape to a very narrow vertical slice, angle around 70 roundness 8%-20%.
If this is too fast for you, slow the video down and follow the history window at the down right corner. It shows what he's currently doing, good for observing what effects are used.
This might sound weird but i had a dream where i questioned how different texturing tree trunks would be digitally so thats why im here.
OH FUC-
OMG OMG SAME!!
I do that kind of thing, too. It's super interesting to search things related to dreams.
I can't remember my dreams

How did you do the intense lighting on the last tree. Using color dodge i cannot see how you are getting that colour
set the layer blending mode to "colour dodge" and pen mode to "screen"
how can you make the light on the last tree? please tell me
I've a long way to go
im new in this case, how to change color without moving the cursor?
Hold down ALT while brush is selected and you'll get the color picker tool, really handy for picking different shades on the fly
@@wes_rj225 Thanks for sharing this! It was a headache going back and forth pen the color picker tool and the brush.
