thanks for taking the time to make this video, i would advice against cleaning with a brush on the piano black gloss trims around the center console

Hey there! I appreciate you and the support, totally understand where you’re coming from especially with not wanting to scratch it. The only reason I did it for this detail was because the customer specified that she had a lot of dirt/grime in the crevices that bothered the mess out of her. So part of the reason I spray APC is because I want to have some wet surface to minimize scratching when I got in with a detail brush. You can tell from the actual brush that it’s brand new too so I don’t use an old one that can cause more scratching. Hope this info helps give an idea on the why I did it!

What did you use for the seats?

I used Malco Clean & Shine for the seats!

Good job it was a bmw not a Ford car as the carpets are crap quality as you know.

Which APC do you use?

I use serranos sauce
10:1
Purple Power
Distilled Water
5 Drops of Dawn Soap
Been using it for years and never had issues

@@ClutchDetailing thanks for the response! I noticed you used it on glossy black plastics. You haven’t experienced any damage or excessive smearing with that combo?

nope not at all, mainly because I dilute it enough to not have that type of issue. That and after I agitate I immediately wipe or blow it away with the tornador gun!
As long as it’s diluted you won’t have any issues with it

@@R900DZ That’s true but purple power works just as good, he’s mentioned before that any degreaser is fine. He just favors super clean for the mixture.
