I love the bow on your boat. It puts buoyancy outboard and forward, and that is where the rig is trying to capsize the boat. I have my fingers crossed we will see this bow-type move up into the larger classes.

Awesome video, I'm going sailing on my little 22 this afternoon. Yay! Why do you keep the jib up under genaker? It looked like there was enough wind, is it for stability or possibly to get some power lower down?
Yeah, this is my small gennaker, the clew is pretty high so it works great in combination with the jib. Also because the bowsprit is so huge, the triangle left open between the mast and th forestay is much greater than on most boats

C'est certainement un avantage, surtout au début, mais d'autres personnes arrivent avec un bagage de voile légere (420, laser...etc) qui est aussi un avantage, surtout sur les régates courtes

Just before the broach you guys were sailing her almost on it’s ear, does it sail well like that or is it faster when flatter? Edouard sounds sold on the rounded bow, such a great episode especially with the requisite aerial sailboat porn!

Yeah, the Class 40 are starting to have it, and the L'Occitane on the VG has a little bit of that has well (as much as the calss rules allows)

Going upwind the boat does't like to lean too much, but reaching, she allows quite a lot of angle
