Another Welcome sign in block letters by hand. Although block letters look like they'd be easier than their fancier script counterpart, they are a weakness for me and is something I should be focusing on more often.
any tips on what brush brand to get for beginners? im debating getting a cheap set or a couple high quality ones. thanks, and also, wonderful sign, i love the color combo
Thanks for the kind words. The right brush makes all the difference! I wouldn’t waste your time on the cheap brushes as they won’t perform the way you want them to and you may think it’s your ability, when really it’s just a cheap brush. Mack has always made a good brushes. I really like using Mack “the Virus” brushes for script lettering and fine detail. It’s up to your own preference, but check out Mack brushes.
