Oh well I'll keep that in mind the next time they have an episode where there's fishing involved. I was actually just enjoying how the whole episode and how it played out. Great lessons to be learned. I was glad the young lady turned out to be honest and loving. These episodes of Bonanza just kept getting better.

😂 yep. I was just gonna say that. That might've been one of the other reasons why Pernell Roberts eventually left the show. I read an article on Pernell where he said he simply couldn't stay for reasons of three grown sons still living with their Pa and seemingly needing to get Pa's permission of things. I can understand that in a way. He needed new challenges. Yet Bonanza remained very popular after he left. Which I was glad about. But I also understand why Pernell left. And it ran for 14 seasons. Change is inevitable though. Most men and women do eventually get married and start their new life together. Is the way God intended.

Another great 1 & of course she was a fantastic character actress for decades, but G D IT it got corney silent film ridiculous with the shootout, totally UNNECESSARY!

Never trust them when they lie in the first place and never marry them in the 2nd place. Or you will get screwed in the end.

    *SOUND REMEDY*
If you use headphones, a secondary speaker or bluetooth device the sound works for some reason. Found that out a while ago and that's how I'm able to enjoy these.

$67,000 in the year 1866 would be worth almost $1,200,000 today.

I look these up also. They use a lot of inflated amounts in this show. Guess people would not accept the actual numbers.
