You are absolutely correct so much land and so close together. They are very nice but I bet you can hear your neighbor if they break wind.
Way more cost effective for the owners. Getting utilities all around a 40 acre plot would be crazy expensive, but yeah, a little more room would be nice.

There is some logic to this. Number one is the building cost convenience and maintenance of construction all being so localized. Also, it gives you the entire 40 acres of wilderness to roam around without spreading the housing into the natural environment.
They had the right idea. Splurge on creature comforts like the kitchen and bathroom and then let the rest flow the best you can. Love this house.

I have enjoyed your last three videos from Denison. I’m originally from Sherman and my wife from Denison. Our high schools are big time rivals, so we are constantly teasing whose town is better. This family sure has some great properties. Thanks for taking us home and inside these great properties. Now we have options when we visit.

Yeah, a lot of the Air BnBs lack storage. Which is why they seem to be able to cram so much in smaller spaces. I still get great design and layout ideas from them, which is my favorite reason to watch!
