I'm glad to see the difference between Bird vrs MFJ since I have the Bird and Wayne is looking into a MFJ ,I was about to ask of the 29 being used until amp was mentioned, it is a slick mod on the radio

I have an MFJ giant meter on my bedroom spare radio, but use a Bird 43 on my main station where all the good stuff is located.
