I do indeed hide a pickle (which I bought from the Epcot Germany pavilion) on my Christmas tree.
It's always the first ornament to go on, and always in a difficult spot to find.

Thanks for showing Sebastians! That looks like it's worth a trip to the CBR alone. In Germany - I am still missing the teddy bear shop. I hate that they have not bothered to reopen that one since COVID! The unique pieces (Steiff, etc) were what made Epcot shopping special, and not just more stuffed plush of Mickey wearing lederhosen.
We hide the pickle every year!!! One of my favorite Christmas Traditions!!
