    I have been following your content since the water resistant sunscreen short which is two years back and I can say you are the closest TH-camr I could put my faith on blindly cause whatever works on you has worked on me till now. Love your content! ❤ Just wanted to request you to make some videos for oily to combination skin types and moisturisers for oily to combination skin and shampoos for dry hair. You put some community polls of what u want to see more and people voted exactly opposite of what I wanted to see in most of the polls 😂 I would request you to kindly touch the less voted topics too didi

    Aqualogica and Dot and Key sunscreens mentioned in the video contain comedogenic ingredients, so they may not be suitable for oily acne prone skin. Please check the ingredients list.
    Also, I'd like to recommend my all time favorite sunscreen, Derma Co C-Cinamide Sunscreen. It has the most lightweight texture and is non-comedogenic and fungal acne safe. (I've extremely oily acne prone skin)

    • @indianskinblog
      @indianskinblog  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Like ive always said, comedogenic ratings are not absolute. When someone says "comedogenic ingredients" there's a 'chance' that they might break you out, there's no 'guarantee' that they willl break you out. For example a product might have shea butter which is quite comedogenic, but if this shea butter is present in a formulation which is lightweight/ water like etc, it won't clog your pores bc the formula as a whole has outdone the greasiness of the shea butter. So these ratings which are quite unscientific should only be used as indicators.
      Aqualogica and Dot & Key sunscreens are lightweight formulations and not pore clogging at all. Never broke me out. I too have extremely acne prone skin and badly formulated products just break me out. But I dont go by such ratings because after over 4 years of consistent skincare ive learnt to identify my products by how they make my skin feel and not by blanket statements on comedogenic ratings. At the end of the day, would also add that we're not formulators so lets leave ingredients and ratings best to the formulators and trust products by how they make us feel. Hope that helped!

      @@indianskinblog I'm actually not an expert to talk in detail about skin care. I've been suffering from acne since a very long time and to heal that I started watching skin care content online from the last 2 years. I mostly watch dermat's content for accurate and trustworthy info. Also I take into consideration my dermat's opinion. Many dermats do not recommend a product with comedogenic ingredients even if it has light texture for acne prone skin as far as I know. It's good if they suited you but such comedogenic products may trigger acne in others. There's a chance right? Hence I've said that. And personally Dot and key sunscreen broke me out and made my skin greasy. That's why I always check the labels for non comedogenic ingredients so as to not take any risk for my skin.
      I watch a lot of dr V's content and she never recommends comedogenic products for acne as far as I know. She usually recommends mineral sunscreens but for oily skin she recommends non comedogenic chemical sunscreens. Also there are many trusted websites online where you have to paste the ingredients list and it checks for comedogenic ingredients. Based on what I've observed so far, I've said that.
      I know dermats tell things based on clinical research and general observations and influencers focus on practicality and share their personal experience. But I feel that skincare influencers and enthusiasts should mention if products are comedogenic, even if those products haven't caused breakouts for them. Ultimately, it's up to the audience to decide. Just my opinion.
      I really want to thank you for educating me on this point. I didn't know it earlier. Also I want you to check out my recommendation as well❤Recently discovered your channel and I really like your content.

    Hi... I have tried most of the sunscreens and EVERYTHING makes the skin look dark and there is no glow at all. Please suggest some that doesnt make the skin dull and dark

    • @indianskinblog
      @indianskinblog  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Either you're over applying the product or your skin is TOO oily which gives you an "appearance" of dullness because in reality no sunscreen can make your skin "turn darker". Sunscreen application done religiously over a period of time has beeb proven to reduce dullness and skin pigmentation. Hence you need the right sunscreen with maybe an exfoliating cleanser and/ or a nianicamide serum that'll help your oil control.
