I'd hate to start seeing separate 5* versions of the 4*s. I would rather have an upgrade path something you just cannot pull for. Maybe they become one with their vision, and become a 5* visionless character.
I feel like if Lisa was obtainable on character banners, her signature would immediately be Sacrificial Fragments at C6 because not only does it look amazing on her, since you get the max amount of Conductive stacks just by swapping to her at C6, you can immediately hold E then have your skill cooldown reset again for another hold E for more damage.
Agreed. Once you have C6, Sacrificial Fragments is the only choice for her. The Conductive stacks aren't an issue anymore, and the reset on her Hold E is significant. It takes some attention, but not too much, to reapply the conductive stacks within the cooldown of Sacrificial Fragments' ability.
can’t relate tbh. i run widsith still since it’s free crit and i just don’t have enough time to use hold e twice. i’m running a fischl driver setup though, so ymmv i guess. i’d rather try to keep enemies in my q for more aggravates.
Tbh with 4pc Thundering Fury, its pretty easy to reduce her cooldown with aggravate, especially if you are rotating her allies to reset up. I still prefer her with an offensive book like Widsith or Atlas.

Lisa is the only stereotypically true mage in GI, her long charge to perform charged attacks and hold skill with massive payoffs are what I expect from mages.
I love how flexible she is now with dendro’s addition, Before she was rlly just a decent dps (you’d have to majorly invest in though) or a Eula superconduct partner/TTDS holder/Ult bot. But with dendro she’s a respectable aggravate main dps, hyperbloom/burgeon trigger, or just general spread activator due to how much electro she supplies. Her EM scaling finally makes sense too.

it's very neat from a design solution perspective how aggravate keeps electro's quality of benefiting from fast elemental application rate, while also benefiting from crit rate and dmg% like melt/vape. that way, all of the existing characters that are good for fast transformative electro reactions like electrocharge continue to be good for aggravate
I'm a day one player, and I've still been using her to this day! I just love her character and playstyle. My favorite combo is venti-lisa bursts because how meme and decent it is. (especially at c4+)
Hi there, I'm a relatively newish player that started this year and some how i became a Lisa main. The traveller was my main... for story reasons. Then when I got Xiangling, I thought she would be my main, until i paired her up with Lisa. And it became even more obvious to main her when I got Bennet. The fourth member keeps changing though, so I put Xingqiu. Which I may switch with Mona if I can get her strong enough or a dendro character like Nahida. Though Dendro Traveler and Collei work okay with Lisa too. My question is what are you doing with her now? For now i will try to get the 5* artefacts for thundering fury and for the fun she has been using the Eye of perception. Then it just became her main weapon as i tried to take on the game more seriously.

Certainly better, than people gave her credit for. But with dendro reactions and same level of investment she's turning everything into dust and it makes me really happy. Your story is similar to my own experience. I've mained her since I started the game and she is my only triple crowned unit thus far. No matter how much I poured into her before however, she was always underperforming as a main DPS. Dendro looks to have finally made her truly viable! I've done some tests and the reactions do work well with her! Now the only thing I am waiting for is more dendro sub dps/support units, so I've benched her for the time being. DMC is good but I really dislike the traveler as a matter of personal preference. I love Collei but her cooldowns don't sync well with Lisa and her burst AOE is quite small. She just feels clunky and awkward to play in general. Tignari is a main DPS, plus I don't have him nor want to use him. The perfect thing for me would be a dendro healer with high off-field dendro application. Like hopefully they make Yaoyao like that since I read that she might be a dendro character. I'm planning a comp like Lisa - Fischl - Anemo - Dendro Healer.
A superb guide, the only thing that I think is worth mentioning is that should you opt for sac frag for lisa, you have to consciously change your gameplay to charge attacks in order to make sure you have enough stacks and don't waste the reset on a tap skill
I've always loved Lisa since meeting her for the first time (like many others) plus she's mommy. I felt bad that since she was an early character she was shelved very quickly by stronger characters (and for a while Yae Miko). Since I've seen others use their 'Lisa's' I felt inspired to use her again and glad I'm discovering her potential in the Spiral Abyss for my AOE team (converting to maybe 'fridge team'). Currently, I have Raiden Ei C1, but... Some reasons of I've the regret for old characters in same element because someone demanding everyone must trashing old characters for only just the best one. In terms of Favorite and Meta together in only one reason. It makes me feels frustrated and I want to "prove" of the only characters of I like can be strong like other characters of their favorites too. Prove (first) > Favorite (next) > Meta (last)
So even hot witch now finally has a good amount of use which is good news for people who've been using Lisa since the beginning and that means that mains of her can finally rise up in victory. Bad news is I haven't used Lisa since God it's been so long and it'll take forever for me to try to get her up to level 90. I am so happy to finally see someone talk about Lisa Lisa and Amber (alongside Aloy, but that's beside the point) are the most ignored characters because their cons are rare and they're not top tier dps units at C0, but they both have reasonable uses and literally everyone has them Also it's just so fitting to see the most distinguished Akademiya graduate in centuries *finally* get recognition with the release of Sumeru
Lisa definitely approved thanks to the introduction of Dendro, but on the other hand, so did most other electro units. I still see Lisa as low tier because both her skill and burst can be clunky to use and most other electro units are just easier to use with more utility and damage. However, I would consider Lisa to be the best low tier character, and it is nice to see an updated guide for an underused starter character.
I love your abyss guides just because I love Lisa and you use her a lot! Imho she didn't get the attention she deserved just because her constellations are almost impossible to find. That's what also makes me stay far from her (but I started playing in april, I'll surely build her in the future...) I love her voice lines so much! ❤️

I even got blessed with her C1 when I pulled on the standard banner with the fates I got from ascending characters. As soon as dendro dropped, I got her and fishl to lvl 90 and thanks to the strongbox update I managed to get her a good thunder fury set. Along with traveler and geo daddy, Igot myself an awesome team.
I wish the reason that Lisa isn't talked about it because of her status as a starter character, but really the reason is she has an incredibly clunky kit to use with her damage mostly concentrated on her hold E, but it being the most awkward skill in the game! Thanks for making this video though, I've been really wanting to use Lisa but always frustrated by the experience
There are a few ways to build Lisa, and Aggravate (or Showcase and crit fishing artifact builds) still focuses most of her damage on her Hold E, true. When building Lisa for EM (Hyperbloom, Overloaded, Electro-charged, and even Superconduct), she has a much more fluid playstyle between the Normals and Charged attacks (which Sevy points out have different ICDs!). Lisa's main damage comes from consistently high damage Reactions. On an EM build, her Hold E becomes a nice wide-range coup de grâce before the conductive stacks expire. It's a pity that Thundering Fury is a notoriously unlucky set when farming or using the strongbox, I still have some awful substat pieces.
Love seeing less meta characters getting some time in the spotlight. Even Amber got better with Dendro, since dendro core explosions can cause baron bunnies to blow-up with them. (although that requires constellations)
I've been thinking about leveling Lisa for a while now. On one hand, I already leveled Keqing and use her in Aggravate. On the other hand, Lisa pretty. Thank you (and Migo) for the extra help! ^^

prior to Sumeru, whenever I play Lisa as my DPS character, the party are always Noelle - Lisa - Fischl - Mona. After Sumeru, I replace Mona with Traveler Dendro. I use Collei when my DPS is a melee attacker.

As a C6 lisa haver, I can testify how powerful she is now. She might be the best starter in terms of late game payout now if you invest in her.

I use Lisa and Yanfei in my main group. Pared with Qiqi for healing, and usually have Yoimiya for pyro resonance.

Honestly, I think she's the most underrated and strongest of the starters, it's just that she's so clunky/difficult to play that people ignore her.

Lisa and Amber (alongside Aloy, but that's beside the point) are the most ignored characters because their cons are rare and they're not top tier dps units at C0, but they both have reasonable uses and literally everyone has them
Also it's just so fitting to see the most distinguished Akademiya graduate in centuries *finally* get recognition with the release of Sumeru
Lisa definitely approved thanks to the introduction of Dendro, but on the other hand, so did most other electro units. I still see Lisa as low tier because both her skill and burst can be clunky to use and most other electro units are just easier to use with more utility and damage.
However, I would consider Lisa to be the best low tier character, and it is nice to see an updated guide for an underused starter character.

Imho she didn't get the attention she deserved just because her constellations are almost impossible to find. That's what also makes me stay far from her (but I started playing in april, I'll surely build her in the future...)

I started using one extra account I have as a F2P account and I love using Lisa! She's my main dmg dealer there. I even got blessed with her C1 when I pulled on the standard banner with the fates I got from ascending characters. I still havent unlocked Sumeru in that account yet but I'm glad this guide came at a good time so I can use Lisa well! Thank you
As soon as dendro dropped, I got her and fishl to lvl 90 and thanks to the strongbox update I managed to get her a good thunder fury set. Along with traveler and geo daddy, Igot myself an awesome team.

I wish the reason that Lisa isn't talked about it because of her status as a starter character, but really the reason is she has an incredibly clunky kit to use with her damage mostly concentrated on her hold E, but it being the most awkward skill in the game! Thanks for making this video though, I've been really wanting to use Lisa but always frustrated by the experience
There are a few ways to build Lisa, and Aggravate (or Showcase and crit fishing artifact builds) still focuses most of her damage on her Hold E, true. When building Lisa for EM (Hyperbloom, Overloaded, Electro-charged, and even Superconduct), she has a much more fluid playstyle between the Normals and Charged attacks (which Sevy points out have different ICDs!). Lisa's main damage comes from consistently high damage Reactions. On an EM build, her Hold E becomes a nice wide-range coup de grâce before the conductive stacks expire.
It's a pity that Thundering Fury is a notoriously unlucky set when farming or using the strongbox, I still have some awful substat pieces.
Love seeing less meta characters getting some time in the spotlight. Even Amber got better with Dendro, since dendro core explosions can cause baron bunnies to blow-up with them. (although that requires constellations)

Another amazing playstyle for Lisa is "Lisa-hybrid overload." Her best teammates with this is Bennett, Fischl, and Venti. Best Set is TF.
Bennett Q > Venti E Q >Lisa Q > Fischl Q/E > Lisa E > Lisa E hold > Lisa AA.
Just a suggestion for people who want to try other build.
One of my all time favorites to play even tho she might not be as efficient but she is soooooo fun and has engaging gameplay

Fun fact about Lisa:
Her charged E in overworld is normal lightning. When you charged E in Enkanomiya, the lightning will start from the ground.
With Lisa's rose theme, it's like she was intended for dendro from the start
I had already had Lisa build way before sumeru and now i still love her butt im gkad she still got a boost.
prior to Sumeru, whenever I play Lisa as my DPS character, the party are always Noelle - Lisa - Fischl - Mona. After Sumeru, I replace Mona with Traveler Dendro.
I use Collei when my DPS is a melee attacker.
