It has one stupid flaw, so I’ll definitely remake it and film it while I am at it! Thanks for watching!

I really like the look of the dresser, for example the detail with the reveal on the base! What I don't get though is the "inconsistency" of the built. For example the pocket screws on the vertical divider instead of a sliding in joint and also the just screwed together drawers and visible drawer slides.
But some nice ideas I must say. Gets me thinking of bulding a new dresser and getting rid of ikea stuff... :D

Thanks for watching and for the comment! This build was basically afterthought, didn’t plan on building it, I only planned on building a crib and then I realized I can maybe make something to compliment the crib with the materials I already had.
In a ideal world with a limitless budget I would have loved to build a dresser made completely out of oak with hidden drawer slides and maybe dove tail joint drawers (pocket holes was just lazyness!😂you got me!)
      Hopefully in the future!
But thanks for watching I really appreciate it

      Thank you for your video.
Like the bevelled front and the looks of the dresser overall.
Only one question: why build it so heavily constructed? Such a thick top and bottom, so many dominoes...
Designed it to be earthquake proof?
      😊
Not to mention your back will hurt when lifting it...
      😨

Thank you, really appreciate the compliment!
To be honest, that thing is super heavy!😂
The main reason was due to the quality of the boards I used, they were made up with sub par joints and a little bit warped. I thought of ripping all of the joints and gluing them back together but that would have left me with too little material to work with. So I kept them thicker with the hope that the joints will not fail and yes I went overboard with the dominos on that one board, that was more to pull the board into alignment instead of making it indestructible😂

But yeah, I would have made the dresser completely different if I started with rough lumber!

      @marcelgenis  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

I’ve got a few upgrades planned for the Laguna! Will make a video about it, not a typical review video, but more of a upgrade video.
All in all, still a great tablesaw!
