Is it me or is Billie sounding particularly better vocally lately? Those high screams that he did a couple of times I never really heard him do em much til recently especially since the father of all has been released.
Dean Polis i feel like he’s definitely tried to improve and extend his vocal ability in between albums, definitely more confident in his vocal abilities which is great
Dean Polis he’s done them live before, but he hasn’t really put them in a song until now
Because they’ve only done a few shows since the announcement, not a full tour. Doing 150 three hour shows really does a lot to the vocal chords.

This KROQ performance is one of the best mixed live Green Day performances in years. Big kudos to the engineer, the guitars arguably sound better here than in the albums, for all the songs.

Easily the best song GD put out in the last 10 years, it has the old school Dookie/Insomniac energy and melody. I wish Billie would play guitar on this one it would feel even more classic. Underrated tune.

This doesn’t really feel like Green Day anymore in my opinion. This seems almost staged. You can’t hear the crowd, it’s a very small stage, Billie Joe looks so lost without his guitar. This doesn’t feel like the Punky rock band with an attitude that I fell in love with as a kid.
They seem to be having more energy than before so that's good
