When superman caught a axe to the shoulder like it was nothing i was 10 years old again for 5 seconds lol...and when the flash literally ran so fast he reversed time along with that epic music chills all around sick movie!!!
I think the reason why flash acts the way he was in the movie is that his mind goes at a faster rate, hence why he's very talkative and sometimes talks fast
I also enjoyed the slow mo, for it added suspense and for the flash seeing in slow mo is literally seeing behind his eyes, seeing what he sees! I like the hotdogs scene as it is something flash would do. I do think it was just a short scene. Like he should of ran around save as much of the stand, collect all the hotdogs ate one or two, put one in his pocket for the puppies save iris, left her with a flower and a hotdogs in hand with a note that said like thanks for the date or something. Then when it came back to what we see. The hotdogs guy doesn't lose much because that stand is his livelihood. It shows he saves more then just lives. And it give iris a reason to investigate and become the reporter she is always ment to be and her fascination with the flash.
I mean Bruce just saved the world with a cyborg, an Atlantean, an Amazon, a Kryptonian and a man who can run so fast that time bends to his will, he was literally just waking up from a premonition about an apocalyptic future, I doubt he'd be moved by the sight a friendly Martian showing up at his doorstep, my man just answered the door and went back to bed lol
I liked that scene with the people singing to Aquaman. He was like a mythical being to them, a God that came out of nowhere to help them. I totally felt something.
That’s exactly what the epilogue was for. The nightmare scene was a teaser to the the injustice storyline, where a pregnant Lois Lane dies and Superman goes evil.
Well no in the injustice storyline Superman gets tricked into killing Pregnant Lois by the joker then he killed joker and starts killing criminals because of what the joker did and that’s why other hero’s go to his side but in this movie he just goes crazy when Lois is killed by darkseid

I feel like MM was a good addition because he has been introduced in this universe before as the general that interacts with superman and zod in Man of Steel. He already has a relationship with Lois, she just hasnt seen him in his true form. It makes sense he would take the form of Martha to check on her.
@@Dimmary why wouldn't he care? the implication that I got from the introduction of his character was that he was trying to probe as deep into international politics as he could by becoming a general after decades on earth. realizing what superman meant to the world and lois, specifically being the only person sans his parents and bruce wayne who know he was clark kent, he was trying to bring her back to sanity. Lois is an important character and I kind of view it as his contribution to the League in the movie even though he did nearly nothing else to help. Also it was clearly trying to set up a sequel where she plays opposite him in some form or fashion.

This movie was pure comic book gold, I watched the two back to back to compare the differences and it blew my mind how different the movie was. Joss whedon did everyone so dirty. Amazing character arks we never got to see and stunning visual effects.
This movie is Justice League, I no longer consider the 2017 to be nothing now, does not exist. I loved Cyborg and Flash. I chocked up when Cyborg helped the waitress!!!!! That was sooo emotional scene.
I was so sad they took out Superman choking Batman I mean like in the original Justice League that was the funniest scene. My favorite scene Zack Snyder’s Justice League was when the Flash was saving Iris and then he just pocketed the sausage.
If WB was concerned about the 4 hour run time, they could have done the “Kill Bill” thing and split the film into 2 parts, releasing them 6 months apart and still giving the fans this kick-ass story! The midpoint to split it would have been at the end of the Martian Manhunter / Lois scene. Just my opinion.
That ending was beautiful 🥰😍♥️ Martian manhunter and the knight mare scenes were fucken amazing, not to mention cyborg was given lots of justice, and even when u have those moments with darkseid u feel his presence, you could tell that Stephenwolf isn’t the worst of the worst. 🤩🤩🤩 10/10 love this Fucken movie

It was amazing! So friggin good. 4 hrs felt like much less. Thoroughly impressed, and is actually now one of my fave superhero movies, after hating the original.
Hearing batman say "make no mistake I will fucking kill you" That's was so cool to hear I love the nightmare scene at the end the whole movie was great also deathstroke looks amazing
the dreams sequence being added into the movie.. should've been an end credit scene or when superman was being reawaken. at the exact point that flash touched the mother box it should've just cut to the dream sequence.. and then added the john jones at the end

The joker scene is genius. The way Zach shot the scene with a very uneasy unstable camera going in and out of focus puts the audience in an uneasy uncomfortable situation watching it. It adds to feeling just as unstable as the joker.

I have always loved the Snyder Slow mo combined with a good song. It is like watching a moving painting. Gives you time to kinda look around the screen and see little details. That's why I like them. Reminds me of a hyper detailed comic cover.
I mostly agree with you Chris, expect on MM I was fine with him being in the movie but the end man ben Affleck look not bad but off. But I enjoyed the movie overall and I'm glad that you enjoyed it too. Have a good day.
Great review Chris. I watched it on day of release and was blown away how great it was, I actually feel closure now, considering we had waited so long for it in 2017 and be disappointed. Although it took 4 years to get this one ( here's to the fellow fans 🙌 ) I am so happy now. The first 10 mins of the 2017 I got frustrated and knew i was gonna hate it. The first 10 mins of the Snyder cut I actually had to hold back the tears because I felt so much emotion with how great it was gonna be. What a difference. 👍

I did not hate a single thing about the movie and didn't mind at all that it was 4 hours long. I found that the last 30-45 minutes or so, the Epilogue of the film, was some of the most hype-inducing and fantastic stuff I've ever seen!! I loved Jared Leto's Joker in this film. He was SO much better. I really hope Warner Brothers allows Zack Snyder to continue his Justice League story so we can actually get a full ending and epic final battle against Darkseid, who was fucking awesome in this film. I give this film a 10/10 both as a film and as a truly entertaining epic. In the end I generally love Zack Snyder's DCEU trilogy.

The four hours felt like a breeze to me. Didn't realize it was already 1 am when I finished watching it. I also love how when Darkseid gets hit by Ares's axe he's like "retreat" while Superman is just so confident that he can take Steppenwolf's axe and he does!

I loved the whole thing from beginning to end! It really met my expectations! And was finally nice to see everything cut come together and all make sense now! It was so beautiful, magnificent and gorgeously done and crafted! Zack Synder really outdid himself on this vision. And I hope WB wakes up after this and gives us fans the rest of what we want and deserve. Loved spotting all the Easter eggs, and all the new details and extra characters. Especially Joker, and a mention of Robin and Harley! And that we finally heard Wonder Woman's name officially dropped! After always hearing Diana. We all know who she is, but that's the nerd in me fangirling hearing it lol. My only dislike was with Mera. I like her character, just didn't like it was still Amber playing her. But as I said aside from all that I loved it, and glad we finally got this version. And hoping to see parts 2 & 3 down the road!
I disagree with the manhunter scenes I thought they are great, they give insight on how his powers work but he also becomes the catalyst on why the justice league revived superman and helped put Lois in direction and how they ended up with the farm. Yes there is a better way to do it. Like in the animated justice league movie. But my biggest disagreement with ya comes from the bruce and manhunter scene. I don't think batman would have any clue who he is. Because of his ability to shape-shift that is how come batman could never know his existence. The line where he says some call me Martian manhunter, he could of said the news or even columnist or reporters seem to call me Martian manhunter. Would be better and even give context to batman to look into him.

I saw some of the early reviews on IMDB and the hate one's are so obvious. You don't have to love the movie that's completely subjective but when they say its worse or just as bad just longer are people that weren't going to like it no matter what they saw. I thought it was better than i could have ever expected. In my top 3 superhero movies for sure. Every minute was needed and everything that happened had more meaning. The fact that they gave us that first version is why they didn't want us to see this. Thanks to everyone thay made this happen!
Hey Chris, loved your video but I don’t think you mentioned this in your review or I don’t know if you caught this or not, but when Cyborg saw a vision of the future with Superman and Darkseid killing half of the justice league, you can see in the scene where Superman is holding Bruce’s mask, a dead body on top of the ruble of Kilowog from the Green Lantern Corps. If there is a potential future of justice league sequels and a deeper dive into a Snyder verse, would have loved to see how he would have introduced the Green Lantern Corps in the nightmare timeline or even in present earth!

The mother boxes forming the unity and Barry having to reverse time was by far my favorite part. I knew the story going in and thought I knew all the story beats, so when the the mother boxes came together and cyborg said it's too late, it was so unexpected I literally yelled "oh sh*t". Great movie and I agree with your review as far as things that worked and things that didn't 100%
Just my thoughts on Martian Manhunter scenes.. He has had interactions with Lois Lane since Man of Steel and he found out she had quit being a reporter.. I feel he went to Lois as Martha, one, to check on her as a friend and two to get her to go back to work because she was a resource and she was making a difference as a reporter and he likely felt like he wouldn't be able to convince her as well as if he went to see her as Swanwick.. And his scene with Bruce and how Bruce acted didn't really bother me. Bruce knows there are aliens now, including Supes, so that certainly wasn't a surprise for Bruce and I'm sure if Bruce ever felt threatened by him he likely has defenses built into his house.. It is Bruce Wayne/Batman after all.. As for Bruce not having a file on Manhunter, that was the first time Manhunter has ever revealed himself to anyone I'm assuming.. The others were all caught on tape using their powers at some point and that info was given to Bruce.. I will give you that about Manhunter revealing his name though, that was odd.. But I just chalked that up to it being a comic book fan moment.. Love your channel sir! Keep up the awesome content and thank you!
Martian Manhunter was totally a fan service. Zack was given a chance to throw everything like this is the last thing he'll ever make concerning DC and he gave it all. He literally gave it all. Even Granny Goodness was there.

This movie was pure comic book gold, I watched the two back to back to compare the differences and it blew my mind how different the movie was. Joss whedon did everyone so dirty. Amazing character arks we never got to see and stunning visual effects.
It was great to see Cyborg be you know, an actual character. Him getting cut down changes the plot so much.
My Favorite Scenes in this movie are:
1. When Darkseid fights against everyone in the past
2. The Whole final battle scene

This movie is Justice League, I no longer consider the 2017 to be nothing now, does not exist. I loved Cyborg and Flash. I chocked up when Cyborg helped the waitress!!!!! That was sooo emotional scene.
So, we not gonna mention that Lex and Deathstroke know that Batman is Bruce Wayne! That was definitely one of my top ten favorite scenes in the movie.
That scence with all of them (expect Superman) dashing together against the parademons was a masterpiece

If WB was concerned about the 4 hour run time, they could have done the “Kill Bill” thing and split the film into 2 parts, releasing them 6 months apart and still giving the fans this kick-ass story! The midpoint to split it would have been at the end of the Martian Manhunter / Lois scene. Just my opinion.

Man uxas intro was HARD. When he jumped off his ship and that music played as the camera panned up to him gave me chills
It was amazing! So friggin good. 4 hrs felt like much less. Thoroughly impressed, and is actually now one of my fave superhero movies, after hating the original.
I liked how aquman pushed bruce on to the wall and bruce pulled out money that was funny to me.
I thought the scene when Barry saved iris was Funny to me 😂

The joker scene is genius. The way Zach shot the scene with a very uneasy unstable camera going in and out of focus puts the audience in an uneasy uncomfortable situation watching it. It adds to feeling just as unstable as the joker.

I have always loved the Snyder Slow mo combined with a good song. It is like watching a moving painting. Gives you time to kinda look around the screen and see little details. That's why I like them. Reminds me of a hyper detailed comic cover.
I mostly agree with you Chris, expect on MM I was fine with him being in the movie but the end man ben Affleck look not bad but off. But I enjoyed the movie overall and I'm glad that you enjoyed it too.

Great review Chris. I watched it on day of release and was blown away how great it was, I actually feel closure now, considering we had waited so long for it in 2017 and be disappointed. Although it took 4 years to get this one ( here's to the fellow fans 🙌 ) I am so happy now. The first 10 mins of the 2017 I got frustrated and knew i was gonna hate it. The first 10 mins of the Snyder cut I actually had to hold back the tears because I felt so much emotion with how great it was gonna be. What a difference. 👍

I did not hate a single thing about the movie and didn't mind at all that it was 4 hours long. I found that the last 30-45 minutes or so, the Epilogue of the film, was some of the most hype-inducing and fantastic stuff I've ever seen!! I loved Jared Leto's Joker in this film. He was SO much better. I really hope Warner Brothers allows Zack Snyder to continue his Justice League story so we can actually get a full ending and epic final battle against Darkseid, who was fucking awesome in this film. I give this film a 10/10 both as a film and as a truly entertaining epic. In the end I generally love Zack Snyder's DCEU trilogy.

The four hours felt like a breeze to me. Didn't realize it was already 1 am when I finished watching it.
I also love how when Darkseid gets hit by Ares's axe he's like "retreat" while Superman is just so confident that he can take Steppenwolf's axe and he does!

I loved the whole thing from beginning to end! It really met my expectations! And was finally nice to see everything cut come together and all make sense now! It was so beautiful, magnificent and gorgeously done and crafted! Zack Synder really outdid himself on this vision. And I hope WB wakes up after this and gives us fans the rest of what we want and deserve.
Loved spotting all the Easter eggs, and all the new details and extra characters. Especially Joker, and a mention of Robin and Harley! And that we finally heard Wonder Woman's name officially dropped! After always hearing Diana. We all know who she is, but that's the nerd in me fangirling hearing it lol.
My only dislike was with Mera. I like her character, just didn't like it was still Amber playing her.
But as I said aside from all that I loved it, and glad we finally got this version. And hoping to see parts 2 & 3 down the road!

I disagree with the manhunter scenes I thought they are great, they give insight on how his powers work but he also becomes the catalyst on why the justice league revived superman and helped put Lois in direction and how they ended up with the farm. Yes there is a better way to do it. Like in the animated justice league movie. But my biggest disagreement with ya comes from the bruce and manhunter scene. I don't think batman would have any clue who he is. Because of his ability to shape-shift that is how come batman could never know his existence. The line where he says some call me Martian manhunter, he could of said the news or even columnist or reporters seem to call me Martian manhunter. Would be better and even give context to batman to look into him.

I saw some of the early reviews on IMDB and the hate one's are so obvious. You don't have to love the movie that's completely subjective but when they say its worse or just as bad just longer are people that weren't going to like it no matter what they saw. I thought it was better than i could have ever expected. In my top 3 superhero movies for sure. Every minute was needed and everything that happened had more meaning. The fact that they gave us that first version is why they didn't want us to see this. Thanks to everyone thay made this happen!

Hey Chris, loved your video but I don’t think you mentioned this in your review or I don’t know if you caught this or not, but when Cyborg saw a vision of the future with Superman and Darkseid killing half of the justice league, you can see in the scene where Superman is holding Bruce’s mask, a dead body on top of the ruble of Kilowog from the Green Lantern Corps. If there is a potential future of justice league sequels and a deeper dive into a Snyder verse, would have loved to see how he would have introduced the Green Lantern Corps in the nightmare timeline or even in present earth!

The mother boxes forming the unity and Barry having to reverse time was by far my favorite part. I knew the story going in and thought I knew all the story beats, so when the the mother boxes came together and cyborg said it's too late, it was so unexpected I literally yelled "oh sh*t". Great movie and I agree with your review as far as things that worked and things that didn't 100%
Just my thoughts on Martian Manhunter scenes.. He has had interactions with Lois Lane since Man of Steel and he found out she had quit being a reporter.. I feel he went to Lois as Martha, one, to check on her as a friend and two to get her to go back to work because she was a resource and she was making a difference as a reporter and he likely felt like he wouldn't be able to convince her as well as if he went to see her as Swanwick.. And his scene with Bruce and how Bruce acted didn't really bother me. Bruce knows there are aliens now, including Supes, so that certainly wasn't a surprise for Bruce and I'm sure if Bruce ever felt threatened by him he likely has defenses built into his house.. It is Bruce Wayne/Batman after all.. As for Bruce not having a file on Manhunter, that was the first time Manhunter has ever revealed himself to anyone I'm assuming.. The others were all caught on tape using their powers at some point and that info was given to Bruce.. I will give you that about Manhunter revealing his name though, that was odd.. But I just chalked that up to it being a comic book fan moment.. Love your channel sir! Keep up the awesome content and thank you!

Zack Synder’s original version looked beautiful, the story was griping, compelling, and had great story and character development - I watched the 4hrs near enough without blinking and on the edge of my seat. Jumping up and down, cheering and shouting from excitement so many times. I was a very happy fan watching it!
I will watch it hnudreds of times more, starting today, this week, this month... I will go to the cinema too to see this on the big screen at least 10x times!

The story telling was good but vfx was trash. But I can't even compare this to avengers infinity saga because it was nothing in front of that movie. How marvel put the things in his movies, dc will never be able to do that.
