To those who don't get it: "feeling" a song like this is not about singing it like a black soul singer from the 60s. That's not the substance of it. Lou sang it with his own feeling.

hi , gz here, I agree with the last comment, but, sir, what is your point? I believe I said more or less the same thing. There is only one, and there will never be another, Lou Reed.. let's all agree to listen, and enjoy, and perhaps learn, from him, together. stay safe, stay tight, god bless, gz
Amit Bhattacharjee There´s a great piece by Aram where he mentions this recording at www.deathandtaxesmag.com/209551/looking-at-trees-with-lou-reed-reflections-on-playing-guitar-with-a-master/

Last time I saw Lou perform. Tim Robbins on guitar behind Lou. Mario Batali was standing at the bar. Some great music that night.

The horns are unrelenting…. Miss you, Lou.
To think they used to turn down Robert Quine's guitar in the mix but they let this mess take front and center.
RIP Lou, but you destroyed this song with your vocal...

U know SH*T
I love Lou but this was a bad idea.
My thoughts exactly. I don't know whose idea it was to pair him with this song but to me, it just didn't work.
