Educating the person reacting negatively to a completely legal activity would have ensured no further trouble here, versus implying that you "shouldn't film here again" even though you're lawfully allowed to. A bit strange that he didn't understand that as a policeman.

You know I really don’t understand whether the police’s job is to uphold the law or to keep the peace by siding with the strongest winger. I’m really beginning to realise that it’s more of a peace keeping force, so if you’re in the minority and acting in a lawful way that the majority doesn’t like you’re effectively screwed.
