I'm in the process of doing the same thing.
It was you and your video that told us about the screw for the water pipe.
    Thank you very much 😊

How expensive was your Composting Toilet. I just purchased a Motorhome, and want to replace the RV Toilet with a Composting Toilet so that I do not have to deal with emptying and flushing out a black tank every so often.

I think the whole thing was less than $200.

yup, that's me too. Just bought a home and the toilet water leaked all over the floor while driving the rv. I don't want to rely on having to also dump a black water tank. Thanks for posting this video.

Yes but after about two years of use I switched up the urine diverter to have a much thicker tube. It’s easy to clog it if you get the peat moss in there accidentally.

Why not seal with butyl tape instead of permanent pvc cement? That would make it reversible if you sell unit and take toilet. Maybe?

i’m trying to figure out the best way to close off the hole because i’m also switching to compost and i’ve seen people say the “test plug” aka a different is only for testing and not sealing it until further notice? any tips or suggestions?

@@sofy9582 I’m doing a similar project. I ended up buying a simple, flat sink stopper and used silicone sealant to attach it over the flange. Then I placed butyl tape over that as a second layer of protection, probably overkill. But should I sell the rig in the future, I can easily remove the sealant and reinstall the RV toilet. Like you, I’m just trying to figure it out. If this fails, my backup idea would be to make my own plug using a slice of appropriately sized PVC pipe or a funnel. I should be able to spray the inside with WD40 then fill with “really good stuff” foam. Pop it out after it dries and you have yourself in a custom plug.
