I also think droplet’s power depends on the type of deck you’re playing. It’s an auto-include in Drytron or Phantom Knights, where you don’t need a lot of cards in your hand to pop off. I’ve discarded four cards for Droplet, playing Drytron, negates their whole board, and continued to otk.
Perhaps Sky Crisis should be on the list, it doesn't require much setup like Zeus, it's basically like a Pankratops/Fenrir. Together with Talents or Change of Heart it's strong
Sky Crisis locks you of summoning for the rest of the turn so it kind of disqualifies as being a Boardbreaker. Its more Like a Plan D after Plan A-C failed but did enough so one more bounce at least fully clears. Good Card but there is little to no Synergie with stealers. If i go Change of Heart on an opponents Bossmonster and it somehow didnt get negated or dodged I can not just put Sky Crisis on top, I first have to play the rest of my turn but still have to stay under the ATK of whatever I want to take as material vor
Sky Crisis is more situational to thwart the likes of 3k+ boss monsters after you’ve lost control of the match whereas Zeus is an actual board breaker. And in that same situation there are other boss monsters that get under that threshold and laugh at it
Sometimes Fenrir beats really just clears, it's crazy. I'm always torn about it being at 3 but I kind of want it to stay around because I just like that extra piece of interaction it gives a lot of decks. Maybe if it went to 2 but sheeesh. Your opponent bricks and you start hitting them with Fenrir they're going to feel it.
Last format I had a really low opinion of Fenrir but right now it's that one extra push or roadblock needed to seal games. It's easily one of the best cards in the game.
DD crow is criminally low lol. It’s extremely versatile yes, but it’s almost always a -1. Yeah you stop an effect but your opp is triggering them all at no cost. This is offset if your deck naturally accrues resources like VS, sure. But as a general interruption there’s more value to be had elsewhere I’m sure
Cyber Dragon is worth considering because an S:P in the EMZ can turn into a 2400 body and doesn’t need the BP to get rid of it. Biggest issue is that it conflicts with Fenrir which is usually better.
It would be nice to have a separate category for cards like shifter which are very powerful, but only in some decks. Feels weird to gauge the power of cards like Droplet or Lava Golem, when their power is heavily based on what deck its being used in as opposed to Ash Blossom, where its power is independent of the deck its being played in.
Ghost Ogre is a solid card, but you're probably not going to have space for it over the other options. It does however become exponentially more powerful in decks that already run Emergency Teleport. That way, if you don't need it for extension, your Teleport suddenly doubles as interruption, or it turns Fenrir into Baronne.
the problem with orgre is that it doesn't negate and only good as e-tele target. It does absolutely nothing in your hand and shouldn't be considered a hand trap except when your opponent plays field/ continuous trap/ spells oriented deck.

Where do I Imperm Rescue Ace? I’ve been struggling to get consistent value out of it in this matchup. Using it too early gets punished by emergency, if I chain to turbulence they can dodge with SP. if I hit the turb on summon they have the potential to summon another one. There’s no obvious choke point here. 🤔
Always imperm turbulence. They normally have already used Emergency. If they have SP you use it before they activate the effect. They dodge it but it doesn't resolve

Without finishing watching this video, I want to say something important for me.
I really love the idea of one bigger non-engine/tech tier list instead of two seperated in hand traps and board breakers. Keep this please! 👃
Shifter is really bricky though isn't it? Even in kashtira
When you compare bystial to crow it seems like you consider the general aspect instead of what it is in this format where crow actually halve unchained board by itself
Ogre is not even close to crow
Small World
Beautiful
kaiju better than encore
lol chat asking Josh what negates lab has and he just ignores it lmao
Yugioh YT pros are a joke, its just biased as all hell.
U miss SP little knight😂😂😂
this is main deck techs
Controversial take: the game would be more fun if every card in S and A tier were banned.
I'm so glad I don't really play this game anymore.
Yet you still watch these videos and post comments.
@@Ragnarok540What's your point by saying obvious things kid? He doesn't have to play anymore to be a careful observer of how toxic the game has evolved to.
Bystials are awful and so bricky 😂😂😂
