Although I mainly feature 80s and 90s content on the channel I also like to showcase interesting and unique items such as this lovely piece of trench art. I hope you enjoy the occasional variation 😊

The bullet end could possibly be placed into the shell casing, for use as a handle, perhaps. The ‘crows foot’ marking denotes M.O.D. (Ministry of Defense) It makes the shape of an arrow, I think.

trickydicky2908 you are an absolute GENIUS! I just tried putting the bullet into the casing and it worked exactly like you suggested! It's little things like this, and the other input from people that have watched the video that makes sharing videos on TH-cam worth while :D I'm snowed under at the moment, but I'll try and do an update with this revelation in either a post or short follow up video.

You’re very welcome. The fellow that made it, was very clever. Thanks to your video, I’m going to try to make one, myself. Lol

Is it my imagination but it doesnt look like the caps been fired 😮 could liven your day up a bit even though the charge has been removed.

I'm always on the look out for a little excitement! Wouldn't expect it to be much if it was still functional, but a very good observation.

As any British veteran should be able to tell you, the "Crow's feet" sign is, stamped, engraved, painted or burnt, on any and all things to do with the British War Department.

@@retro_restorations It's correct term is the "British Broad Arrow" and was used on all British ordnance under Crown control.
