    Thank you for providing us with these gems. If anyone tells Karl Richter isnt the best interpretator of Bach just tell them Tarkovsky preferred his versions.

    I've listened to this 6 times in a row now, lol. So epic, it defies explanation.

    This recording has an unearthly quality which calls to mind black lights in the 1970s. Hoomeyow!!

    I read that this organ was built for Karl Richter. He knew how to use it well.

    Another sublime performance by Karl Richter. From 7:00 the background hiss disappears: what happened?

    • @alexa174
      @alexa174 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's only audible during the quiet section, I think the original audio might have been too quiet and the uploader turned up the volume for us

    • @GiuseppeRusso58
      @GiuseppeRusso58 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexa174 I don't think so: the hiss should be heard more in the pauses of the music because it is not covered by this, and in any case it is clearly heard much less even afterwards. More likely by that time some corrections will have been made during the recording.

      @@GiuseppeRusso58 there was an obvious cut in the recording, for the sound engineer to make adjustments, I'm guessing.

    The only word I find fitting for this music is, "COSMIC."
