    This is so true. I speak often to many about the zygote as the moment the physical life begins as it the moment of one’s godly physical origin and then grows and developed in a continued state until one’s last breath. Then the soul returns back to its original origin with the Creator.

    Can someone please answer this question? I've discovered that there are two versions of what happened when Moses brought water from a rock. In Numbers Moses was commanded by God to speak to the rock and water would come out of it BUT instead he hit the rock twice and therefore was NOT allowed to enter the promised land because he did not trust God.
    Numbers 20: 7-12 7 The LORD said to Moses, 8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”
    9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
    12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.”
    However in Exodus 17 Moses was commanded to strike the rock so water would come out. Exodus 7:5 The Lord answered Moses, “Go out in front of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. 6 I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. 7 And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the Lord saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?”
    Which is correct? Was Moses commanded to strike the rock and therefore obeyed God OR was he commanded to speak to the rock but stuck the rock twice instead therefore disobeying God?

How can I imagine the relationship of the souls of twins at the moment when they are given? I hope my question is clear enough to understand what I want to ask.

      @@ready1fire1aim1 that does not answer my question. There are a lot of twins in the Tora, not just Kain and Hevel. Also Yaacov and Esav where twins.
      But, what‘s about there souls?

    • @The_Temple
      @The_Temple 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good question - and for those seemingly missing the point, identical twins originate from same sperm,same egg & begin separate existence AFTER having been one single fertilized egg .... so, for IDENTICAL twins, at what moment do their separate souls enter into the equation, it cannot be moment of fertilization
      and none of this pertains to FRATERNAL twins who are from separate sperm & egg cells (the mother having had two eggs from the same cycle instead of the typical one)

    • @fancybrides5646
      @fancybrides5646 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @marina.r.d.struse
      @marina.r.d.struse 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@The_Temple correct. That's why I emphasized that it's about identical twins. By the 9th day after fertilization, the separation of the egg is complete. The question is, what happens to the soul? From the very first beginning it is decided by Hashem that twins will be created from the one fertilized egg. And if so, are there two souls from the beginning? Or does this one soul also separate into two? Or were there two souls from the beginning? And if so, do these two souls have a relationship?

    If the soul has a hightened sense of consciousness and intelligence outside of the physical body, why is it when an infant is born can it not speak to us immediately? An infant only cries, laughs, coos, and gurgles. If the soul is life and is intelligent life, then a baby should be born intelligent from the get-go without having to learn all things.

      I believe it's painful for the soul to be separated from their master, much like it is sad for an animal to be left without its human. So it must be sad to be born and joyous to die, spiritually, and most people have it backwards. But then again, the soul knows that being born and entering an impure world are necessary as part of the "mission". So it may be more like a thrill ride where we experience some unpleasant emotions, such as the fear when the roller coaster ascends the first hill slowly, but we know we're safe and we know we chose this.

    • @veganconservative1109
      @veganconservative1109 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@naomistarlight6178 This is an Emotion Dump To Get It Out Of My System (for today) so by all means ignore it.
      My one rollercoaster ride experience I was harassed into taking by my 'wonderful' cousin and it 😱 the S out of me. I have on at least one occasion cried real, copious tears while apologizing to a visiting newborn for what is is going to have to go through for potentially decades. If this life was a 'mission' I was sent on, I was surely shanghaied because I remember being five years old and knowing (despite a loving family and teachers, and a comfortable enough home) that I did NOT want to be here. Then another five years happened and I absolutely did NOT want to be here and have been bending God's ear ever since explaining to him WHY this is so. A quite reasonable argument if I do say so myself. Yet here I am still, a border-line elder. 🤔 Suffice it to say that while I on some level admire God because this was one heck of an architectural design job he created.... our relationship is tumultuous to say the least.😐 Dang it, I was forced into this and I want to go home! Heaven, Nirvana, nonexistence... I don't care anymore. Phfft.😮‍💨 Can well believe some parties that God will remove our human memories at death... probably to spare Himself the grief that he'd have to listen to otherwise, because I can be obnoxiously indignant when I want to be. Godly Self preservation or something.
      Anyway... that was a load off. For the moment. Hopefully you didn't bother to read it all. 😟

When asked if that was fair for say Hitler you explained that he had nothing godly in him and that he would not go to hell he would simply cease to exist. Hitler was alive ? Ceasing to exist is death?

    Simply put the the Hebrew word for 'soul' is 'breather'. Thus the hebew word 'nephesh' is used in Genesis to identify, birds. animals, fish and humans. Of Humans Gen 2:7 reads "An the Lord God formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life ( Neshimah ) and MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL". So unlike Babylonian & egyptian religions man did not HAVE A SOUL, he WAS a soul!. Throughout the bible this basic truth is taught! The teaching of the 'immortal soul' that pervades 'christendom' was borrowed from greek philosophy & babylonioan/egyptian paganism by Augustine. No where in the NT is the 'soul' viewed as an ethriel, spirit that leaves the body at death for another life! This is a false teaching.

      B"H I don't like what you are trying to imply, because it seems that you may be setting yourself up as the one to decide, and then from that follows violence. The Jewish way is not one of duality. The Devil is actually the Samech Mem, the angel of death, which is emanated from G-d in the highest world just like the other angels. Babies are not from angels (except in the days of the Nephilim). They are from a man and a woman, who are humans. Humans have free choice. Humans are G-d's creations. He cares about all humans. You may decide certain babies are from the Devil, but if you make such a generalized statement in this public venue, it does not show intelligence. It shows someone who thinks he can decide who is good and who is evil, and who thinks he has authority to judge. Many of us believe, especially when it comes to a baby, who has not yet had a chance to sin, that no one but G-d has that authority. I am shuddering to think who you have just identified as 'coming from the Devil'. Yes, TH-cam is still the Wild West. It's like someone just came into a nice peaceful saloon with two pistols cocked. So, you did not come to this channel to learn, it seems; maybe you came to stir something up? I have seen this story before. I find your comment ominous.

    • @leahaltmann3826
      @leahaltmann3826 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Todd Wave B"H On what do you base those bald statements. And I shudder to think what progresses from your theory. I do not think you are here to learn. i think you are here to dissuade others from learning and to spread anti-Jewish sentiment, to see if maybe you can start a fight. This talk is about the soul, something relevant to all people. If you are interested in starting trouble you should not visit these talks. You should learn why you are wrong and the consequences of making trouble, which are that you lose the privilege to learn, as those who can give you a valid 'roadmap' for life are the same ones you oppose, and then you would find you have no roadmap... it's not about you getting consequences for that attitude, but, rather, that you would have either chased away or destroyed the very resource that you need, and that you do not realize you need. If you are here, I hope you will listen and gain some understanding from these talks. They are rare, and could help you. Don't take availability of this insight for granted, and just use the 'comment' opportunity as a chance to spread ideas that can lead to, first, unfairness, and then, later, Heav'n forbid, to violence. Later, you would miss exactly that insight.

I am not interested in seeing anything ominous on this channel, so let me know... there are more encrypted and less censored venues on which to discuss where is the anger coming from which drives you to make an ominous comment. Perhaps you do not see this Rabbi for who he is, in a positive sense, and I think it could be discussed best in a venue in which one may actually say/write what he/she is thinking; otherwise, it can't be worked out and festers, and then what is ominous becomes worse than ominous.
