The rev was awesome especially as a composer and overall musician but he’s not what made them a thing, he didn’t even write on waking the fallen or city of evil which are easily 2 of their best albums if not the best 2, band were already incredible songwriters and musicians before the Rev started writing more than just drums beginning with the self titled album.
