The kneeling technique is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm helping run a Scout session with axes, knives and saws - as helpful as the drawings and text are in the Scout briefings it's always good to see it "live". Thanks a lot.

The slow-mo thuds in this video make such a satisfying sound

And you added more slow-mo at 8 minutes. Amazing.

More slo-mo thuddiness and a very cool creaking sound on this one: th-cam.com/video/yLlSE8w0N5k/w-d-xo.html

Love your videos! We had a bunch of trees come down in a storm this week so I've finally bought the axe I always wanted and have been getting into processing downed trees. These videos have been a real help. Cheers!

It sounds like gunfire in the slow-mo. Thanks for helping me build a log cabin!

All i have right now is a Maul Axe, can I cut through the tree the same as the felling axe?

Thank you so much for this! We had an old dead peach tree come down in the wind today and my husband and I were killing ourselves trying to figure out the most efficient ways to use our axe and hatchet. Tomorrow will be much easier, now that we've seen this!

Either something from the Hultafors Agdor range or one of the Hults Bruks.

Where are you allowed to go out and chop down trees? I know there's a lot of them that are in national parks and whatnot so where do you find trees to fell that won't get you into legal trouble
