Beneficial modifications: #1- open the deck up. Only use what is needed to support the spindles #2- use Lexan or other polycarbonate to shield the clippings away from pulleys/belt/engine #3- locate the engine farther rearward for balance #4- possibly convert to a horizontal axis cutter system... such as a flail mower, or helical design such as a downsized version of the Humus Safety Mulcher. Horizontal axis mowers typically perform much better in overgrown areas. #5- if vertical axis is a must, you may do better with 4-14" trimmer blades. This would allow for a much easier rear discharge, use smaller spindles, and reduce or eliminate the need for a deck. Keep up the good work!

My $60 mower from facebook smashes this thing! Briggs and stratton vs this. It didn't even cut the bloody grass. Not a single video on youtube has one of these cutting grass a petrol mower does. Not even close. I only paid $60

Decj needs to be another 2 inches deeper to handle processung that taller grass instead of basically just pushing it over.

Yes it did a very poor job of cutting that really tall grass.
