I don't following boxing at all, so I had no clue about the boxer who died recently, that's horrible, I feel so bad for his friends & family.
Tyron Woodley was such a great fighter, he fell victim to one of the worst things a fighter can get and that was doubt. He doubted his fighting style after he started to lose some fights and that got in his head and he was thinking too much about how to fix the last fight and wasn't thinking about what made him successful.
Then with the boxing match, he totally changed sports, so he didn't even get a chance to go back to what he was good at.

Tyson is still legit, but they are going to fight in one of the largest size boxing gloves there is. No one seems to realize that. Jake Paul is going to run for the first little bit and wait until Tyson gets tired. And with the largest pillow boxing gloves, we aren't going to see much.
That interview he did a long time ago has stuck with me through that whole process. He spoke about when he fought he mattered when he fought he was god and through tears he said now that he’s not fighting he’s not that person anymore and he misses it and if he were to fight again, he would unleash all of that pain and sadness into. Paraphrasing but it was a powerful thing to listen to heartbreaking but powerful.
Mike Tyson and I are about the same age. I have followed his career from the beginning, through all the ups and downs. And I do care about him. If he were my friend or family, I would have told him not to do the fight. I believe there is a good chance Jake knocks him out. He may even look pathetic and non-competitive. I have no idea. But what I do know, is that this is the happiest and healthiest looking Mike Tyson I have ever seen. For the first time, he really seems at peace with himself and is having a great time. The man is blossoming. I’m with him. I’m prepared for the worst, but there is absolutely nothing I’d like to see more than Mike Tyson prove us all wrong.

I have such a hard time imagining Mike letting Paul win, but he just may. Most fans care a lot more about these guys’ legacies than they (the fighters) actually do. If it truly is “theater”, I’d imagine they’ve agreed that Tyson will knock Paul down then ultimately have Mike lose on points. Then it looks better for Paul as the “bully” element is diminished with Mike not getting KO’d and scoring a knockdown.
I noticed in all the clips of Tyson shadowboxing really fast he's not sweating at all. That tells me he knows he can only be fast for about 30 seconds of the 1st round. Sure he's Mike Tyson but 57 is too old to get in the ring with a confident 27 year old who is bigger than you and says he wants to kill you.

Having grown up a Mike Tyson fan, got the pleasure of meeting him in 2022. I really dislike the idea of this fight. I personally believe it isn't going to be a real fight. There is a catch here. A pre-determined outcome. Yes, the last thing to go is your power. But one of the first things to go is your reaction speed. So many athletes past their prime say the same thing, you see it, you go for it, but you don't execute like you used to.
The fact that Jake is not really a fighter is how people get hurt because they throw punches wild and can hit places they are not supposed to
