I disagree, you can have a discussion but you should still assume that the coach is right. Even when you're bad, having the discussion helps you REALLY understand why you're supposed to do that and when. Blaming others is another story though.

@@Hoppitot I think that's what he meant. Not "accept that those are your mistakes and that's who you are, can't change." He meant "those are your mistakes, now deal with them; fix them." Optimal coaching, tbh. There's no coddling. No "that's op" excuses or "ally threw their lead" or "ally didn't play the matchup right." There is only the player and what they can do differently to influence the game, which is all any of us ever have control over so it's the most consistent improvement to climb.
I am a dog trainer and I have worked for places that refuse to let you tell the client how it is. Its not conducive to learning. If you are so insecure and your ego is too frail to handle hearing you suck at something that you are clearly not good at then that's on you when you walk away. When you know you can offer someone something worth their while but the refuse to see it for what it is they are wasting my time. It becomes less about money and more about not wanting to put effort into something that is going to run itself into the ground. I think Neace is a wonderful coach, he is very insightful and very friendly when you listen and actively aim to improve.
i think you missed the biggest weakness of his game: not using his free wards, specially as a support. It's a real set-back for all his team. They never have vision.
biggest weakness is not knowing how to play teamfights, as a brand that's where you shine
brand isnt exactly a power ward champ. By that I mean he cant run off alone and ward. You need to ward with your team to stay alive, this means if they go into enemy jungle, you follow. Otherwise you don't. If you absolutely know that nobody is bot side and u need wards bot u do it, but as you saw with the bush garen he died there. This doesnt happen offten either since people ar eusually wher ethe wards are needed. I think his warding was okay. Like neace said at somepoint "just aram" champs like brand are better off in their team.
Exceptions for this are extremely slippery supports like pyke. Pyke usually gets monster vision scores as a result.
@@sloesty if I am able to light up the map with wards as a nami or Janna then surely he can ward as a brand. Even as a nami or Janna I have to have my teammates with me but this is why I ward when my team has lanes pushed up and they’re farming in lane close enough where I want to ward. Or I use my tornadoes/bubbles to check bushes before I go to ward. There is always a way and as BRAND especially who has the ability to one shot champs can for sure do it. It’s a common thing that is looked over but can make a SEVERE difference in a game you just have to know when the right time is and when you can
He also sat on 2 control wards for like 5 minutes at one point
@@valeriebear2259 Janna and Nami both have extra movespeed and dis-engage tools. They're specifically pretty decent at warding.

It’s the best kind : they go in, miss every skill shot, and then complain the ADC doesn’t follow on his “engage” where he basically just auto attacks them in the middle of a cannon wave.

If you are able to pull it off without feeding then you can say you are aggro sup, but inting and then crying that your adc was at fault is considered as the stupid playstyle

I feel like the word “aggressive” has really lost its meaning in league, nowadays if someone says they are an aggressive player it just means they int a lot.

@@Mmoll1990 there's a point where you can stand, and drop a ward around midway, and it placed the ward over the wall into that bush. Don't do it against a blitz Tho... It's a safe way to ward it if you're worried
The flame ping after Kaisa died to the mao at tower after that irritated me. I dont know why people feel the need to stop playing to criticize when they themselves arent doing the best. It just tilts your team and lowers your shot at winning.

The thing with neace is he says “we” when he is coaching you, your loses is his loses too, that’s what makes him such a extraordinary coach in my opinion.

These vids are so good. I noticed each vid recently has a different focal point. This one focuses a lot of pathing/positioning/zone control, while and earlier one had a focus on preemptive vs reactive ability/item usage. Just hits all the stuff I kinda think of but can't/don't do and I love it all!
as a brand support player myself, the amount of times he W'ed minions and didnt E for a free spread to enemies was amazing. so much free damage to help poke ppl out of lane and force them to move away from waves

They look at mechanics too much, rather than to assess why they go tin the shit position. This player thinkgs: if my fps didnt drop I coulda killed lucian. While in reality he needs to wind back 2 minutes and follow how he got put into that shitty 1v1 in the first play. Most deaths are a consequence of a series of events, not a missplay.

Can we get some role specific micro-series on stuff like that brush control @4:30? A lot of that stuff isn't talked about, is straight game changing, yet it isn't intuitive and nobody explains those super small micro tactics.

I really like the addition of the text messages clarifying your commentary. I think that adds a whole new level of depth to the thought process you are going through as you can't necessarily take the time to always flesh out a concept during the heat of the moment

Usually I’d agree, but I honestly think that ping was trying to be helpful. It happened almost before she died and he might have been trying to tell her to back off a bit, but I could also see him being a toxic lil turd 💩 so I get ya
@Neace. Have players max their e second the spread on burn with liandry, allows for much longer poke, can sustain in a fight better with multiple targets, and less room for error with how the new e works.
Just had a really tilting game where my jungler had no presence on the map at all and I got camped by the enemy jungler. Watching these really help me untilt and remind me to stay more humble and critique myself more in my games rather than focus on my teammates

He does it just a few times or once from what I remember but using your E on minions that are already on fire as brand gives you the most free poke in the world and decimates the enemy team in a siege if you’re solo. It’s beyond free damage for what you should be getting off as a support onto anyone silly enough to not respect brand

As a Brand OTP, Im glad neace is doing a video on him. I think I need coaching aswell or would like a video on Brand mid sometime
Brand is one of my go-to champs when I'm autofilled because I don't trust random adcs to do enough damage. From my own experience, 90% of the mistakes made with Brand are positioning. Your damage will almost always be relevant, but if you get popped first in a fight you don't get to do that damage. Also don't be afraid to lead off with R later into the game. R into a group plus E, then Zhonyas while your stupid damage does its work, that can win you a huge number of fights.

@@BlueFireDudester if you play supp you give kills with no exception. If u take all the kills as support u kinda just lose the game cuz ur carries have no dmg and you can't help them cuz u are brand. If you play mid then I guess it makes sense to take kills.

Another few tips I would give low elo players like this kid is:
1. Spam your R when you're about to die...
2. Get OFF OF LOCKED SCREEN
3. turn on quick cast...
I had dc'ed on a game and came back but i was lvl 1 ww jg i forgot who enemy jg was but they were lvl 3 and that simple in and out the bushes allowed me to kill the enemy jg everyone on my team was freaked out. But being able to stop those auto attacks and jump at em with a e for damage-sustain is freaking great.

@@niksy80 sadly not so rare. I wanted to try out tryndamere mid, play against Kassadin. I didn't play good and got ganked. Went 0/2/1 in Lane, thought was fine, just tried something and it didn't work out first try. At min 20 this 1/7 brand starts pinging and flaming me like crazy. He even asked in all chat to report me. He went 1/12/7 at the end of the game and flames the whole game.

Brand also has a lot of tools during mid to late game to check brushes without face-checking them. Use his W and/or Q to avoid some scenarios where you dont have to facecheck and get OS
I feel like most "aggressive" support players in low elo just mean they like to coin flip lane and just charge at the enemy bot hoping they don't retaliate with their abilities in even a semi-intelligent way.

My friends literally shit on me all the time when I make a mistake and even when I literally play perfectly cs, dmg and objective control they are like "nah you couldve still done this thing better"

I wish LOL community would separate casual and ranked play. Sometimes it’s fun to just play and not have a bunch of nitpicking when there is a misplay or macro mistake. If your goal is to climb though you have to used criticism to your advantage and try to change for the better. This is becoming a “solved” game where the resources are there to get as far as you can if you put in the work. I stopped caring at gold rank because i have more valuable things I like to pour effort into like my music and job... climbing higher would require a serious grind and skill improvement that i am not interested in developing
I mean if you're playing perfect CS'ing, doing damage in fights and looking for windows to do damage and controlling objectives perfectly then you should be hard carrying in the majority of your games even if your team/friends are shit and shitting on you.
