    That small black pocket also serves as the storage location for the rain cover pouch.

      And the little pocket inside that pocket is for an AirTag.

    Man that's a really nice Bag, and that's coming from someone who thought/said i'd never buy a camera bag haha i love all the organisation but yet it feels so minimal somehow! and i love that they aren't telling you what to do with it! also, the roll-top compartment is super handy! As a female who cant go anywhere without my pouches this is a real seller! i think i need it!

      The only thing i'm concerned about and it's probably the same with most camera bags (i've never looked) the side door pocket... its a worry for me that someone could unzip it and grab your camera, it would be great if they had something for extra security

    Nice bag, definitely takes some design cues from the PRVKE.

      @@n3orun Thanks for clarifying! What are your thoughts on this versus the Wandrd Prvke? I'm tempted but they do seem a far smaller brand than Wandrd. Maybe that's not a bad thing.

    Biggest gripe is that you always have to fold the shoulder straps around to the front in order to access your laptop or the main part of the bag.

    The water bottle pocket is outstanding. I don't like camera bags but if I was a photographer I would definitely consider this one!

    Great review, Chase. Love the blue highlights that warn if a zipper is open. Speaking for myself, it feels like it's only a matter of time before I pick up my pack thinking it's zipped up only to realize that my brand new RF 14-35 F4L just fell out. (Notice how I wrote that in a way that makes it sound like it hasn't happened yet?) This pack reminds me a little of the WANDRD PRVKE in some ways. Seems like it has similar strengths and weaknesses based on what I look for in a bag. If I needed a photo pack, this one would definitely be on the list to check out.

    Love Gura Gear. I have one of their packs where it doesn't open up from the back, but opens from those front flaps. Specifically, I use the pack for my 200-600mm beast BECAUSE IT FITS (even with the Sony A7III attached. I can have my lonngggg lens on one side, and maybe an A6300 with a macro or walkabout lens like a 24-70 on the other side. The flaps have a secondary zipper flap area that acts just like these in the video. I keep my handwarmers, external hard drive (like yours), pen/pencil, head lamp(s), and maps or small wildlife guide books in there. It's built like a tank, but it's already heavy BEFORE you put gear into it, so keep that in mind. Thank goodness for those extra cushy shoulder straps and top handle.

      Hey just wondering what size bag you have of theirs, I’m guess it’s not the 18L if you have that lens and a body attached? I’m looking for a small bag like this 18L but need to know if I can fit a 150-600 sigma inside

    Is the roll-top access storage compartment removable, to allow for open access into the entire bag from the top? Or is it sewn in / permanent?
    Not a deal-breaker if it's permanent. Very intrigued by this new bag, it's like a greatest hits compilation of a few very popular competing bags.

    Nice bag but it doesn't beat the Thinktank Retrospective 15.

    • @timothylinn
      @timothylinn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does if you want side access. That Retrospective 15 looks like a nice bag though. I normally don't like the Retrospective style but that one looks pretty good.

    Do you have links or input on the accessories you showed for the battery and SD cards. Both look simple, small, yet still protective. Can’t find them on their site or kickstarter

    Have you looked at any outdoor vitals gear, particularly their recently released KotaUL hybrid-ultralight travel backpack. I’ve recently got it and have my own thoughts, but would be interesting to hear yours.

      From the looks of it (and the 4" depth spec), maybe if you put it in the bag on its side and didn't put anything bulky in the back panel pockets? But you'd forego side access entry / exit convenience, unless you used that door for a lens, speedlight or other small items.
