Because A Few Song Demos From Hail To The Thief (And some B Sides On Singles) Were Produced/Written During The Kid A/ Amnesiac Sessions (I Will, A Wolf At The Door, Paperbag Writer, I Am Citizen Insane, Gagging Order And The Gloaming)
What an awesome video! Radiohead is my second favorite band in the world. Either I didn't know about the hidden booklet or I forgot. Thanks for sharing.
Great video!! I didn't know the hidden booklet in my cd was something important until now. Also, my version is quite different from the version of the video. I bought this one in Chile, the first week after release 🤫🤫🤫
Good video. Kid A is probably my favourite Radiohead album, that or Amnesiac. Some of my favourite songs are Everything In Its Right Place, Treefingers, Kid A and Idioteque. How about you?
Hi Ben. Thanks for watching this video. I completely forgot about this one. That's pretty crazy how they included an entire booklet in the tray. Kid A is my favorite by Radiohead and one of my favorite of all time. My favorite song from that album is The National Anthem. That bass line is incredible.
Yeah, I actually didn't know either until a few months ago. I was able to find the original CD pressing US version at a Record show. It's exciting finding these secret stuff. Thanks for watching!
The version I have (UK I think) has the same black disc holder, but when you break it open there is no booklet, just the image of the first page like the columbian edition. My guess is after a while they couldn't afford to print the extra booklet, so they just left it as the image of the first page.
Good video! I bought today this CD, brand new, But I realized that I have the extended artwork in the regular booklet and the black plastic but no hidden booklet underneath it. Maybe you know why? the cat# is: EMI - 7243 5 29590 2 0 Parlophone - UK-CDKIDA 1 maybe because of it?
That's interesting. I have no idea. It could be that newer presses of the CD didn't want to spend the money of putting the hidden booklet under the CD tray and they just put it with the regular booklet.
I have the double 10" album too and I like them both. My CD version sounds great but the vinyl has a bit more warmth to it I think. Thanks for watching!
The latest XL release is a bit disappointing. It's mostly the same as the Capitol version, but no extra booklet and the same transparent back as the Columbia version. The Capitol version still stands as the best. By the way, I think you actually have a misprint!
It also has lyrics from Hail to the Thief
Yeah good eye. It does for some of the songs. This whole packaging is so clever. Thanks for watching!

Great video mate. Me and Radiohead go way back. My favourite album is either The Bends or Amnesiac. Anyway speak to you soon.
Thanks Mani! Radiohead is very fun and their artwork is always mysterious.
What an awesome video! Radiohead is my second favorite band in the world. Either I didn't know about the hidden booklet or I forgot. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yeah Radiohead rocks. This album was definitely a different one, but great nonetheless. Thanks for watching.

Kid a is honestly a top 10 album of all time

The Vinyl Potato The National Anthem is another one of my favorites.
SAME.
I always consider Kid A and Amnesiac as Double LP.
Wow, never knew this. Great upload thanks

I’ve got that CD somewhere with the hidden booklet. I bought it first day of its release back in 2000
Right on!

Honestly, I didn't like the sound of the CD version, so I had to buy the double 10" LP to get the truthful experience of this extraordinary album.
I have the double 10" album too and I like them both. My CD version sounds great but the vinyl has a bit more warmth to it I think. Thanks for watching!
I remember stealing this hidden book from a thrift store because I already bought a Kid A Cd lol
cool!

cryptic!
Yeah!
I just got the Kid A with the hidden booklet. :P
Nice work! It's pretty cool and I don't think they have it in newer pressings.
