    23 years ago I built my home solar system and used the Trace SW4024. In 2018 I upgraded to the Xantrex SW+5548 and in Nov 2022, I installed a single XW Pro (which I bought from Signature Solar) to complete my move to a 240v system. I love this things. AND I have been putting the foundation for acquiring a 2nd unit. The system works great running on 60kwh of 12 Tesla Model S batteries. Keep up the work, Schneider and SS

      Sounds like a really good system - what BMS are you using with the Model S packs?

      @@MrButuz I'm not Mr. Norsk but I also use the Tesla Model S batteries. The BMS I use is Dilithium Designs purchased from Thunderstruck Motors. It is perfect for the Model S batteries and expandable for many of those modules in parallel.

    Really like these inverters. The amount of power your can generate from this relatively small package is impressive.

    On the DIYsolarforum a lot of Schneider owners have been unable to fix the xw pro leaking power back to the grid when it is not supposed to. Since last year Schneider hasn't fixed this. Some have said their smart meter reports this back to their utility company and without having authorization to feedback to the grid it could cause them problems. Is there a fix being worked on? Many DON'T want to feedback to grid but DO want to use grid power as a supplement or backup.

      Interesting question 🤔

    Thanks for the video. Please how to setup both for 13K watts.

    One startup video here indicated that there's *always* 60-cycle hum with this unit. Is that always the case? Thank You.

    6' Chest Freezer and Residential Double door refrigerator... need to ad this to the test. We are looing into these units to power off grid/remote. How many LONGi5 (545 watt panels)would be required to charge (2) Absolyte GX 48volt/2,000 Amp hour battery banks in Northern Nevada? A 20kw generator would be installed to support low solar production days. Possibly looking into wind power supplement as well.

      Hello! This depends on what the charging amperage used for the batteries is - the inverter can only charge the system at its max. If you would like to reach out to our tech department at 903-441-2090, they can get you the answers you need!

    why are there many different cables flowing into the battery bank? are they individually connected per battery or? usually there's one busbar in those racks

    • @norsk54472
      @norsk54472 ปีที่แล้ว

      recommend 1 4/0 cable per 1 XW Pro in the system. All 4/0 cables connect to a single POSITIVE bus bar in the PDP

      @@norsk54472 ah. interesting, i forgot there are two systems grouped to gether. perhaps makes more sense

    Would be very interested to do a comparison between the Schneider and the 6500s.

    Have anyone done an RFI test? Placing an AM radio near the inverters would suffice.

    never trust a web based system with automatic updates, they will fail for no reason when some hacker likes it!

    They do not support their customers when it breaks, a total nightmare.
