Been cutting my own hair since the 80's, wish they had videos like this back than would have saved me a few years back then of the bowl cut look from a distant....wasn't until the 90's before I got the hang of how to fade correctly.
Thanks 🙏🏾 again for the tips,💈school reopens Tuesday. I’m back at it. You’ve definitely been one of the biggest inspirations in my development. I’ll implement this in my new arsenal...
WHAT UP NOTIFICATION SQUAD!! Let me know if this helped you all out in any way shape or fashion. I've got alot more barbering vids on the way, so STAY TUNED...
Thanks bro this gives me something new to try out. I normally use the oster speedline but detachables seem to be the way to go. Especially for kids bald fades
This is the challenge of having gray hair I find my hair cuts aren't as sharp as they use to be before I went gray. I tend use beigen in order to get sharp cuts
Good video.... enjoy the detachable cuts... i do my fades with detachables and depending on the hair i cleanup with cordless magic clip or babyliss pro fx673
Thank you very much I noticed that the Supra seems to be ergonomically better seems like it fits better in the hand also the one with the detachable battery is more expensive than the ones that you have buy about $40 or $50 do you suggest I just get the one with the detachable battery or the ones like you have
U Just need the 1a and 0a I use both my 76 or model 10 and fade down on straight hair but wavy curly hair I use the detachable for bulk just to cut it down but my cordless masters and cordless fastfeeds are my go toos along with the the metalseniors
I prefer them over the octanes for a few reason. I don’t like the sound, the price of the octanes, and the Supra’s have adjustable speeds. The battery life has been good for me. You can watch my cordless clipper review and my cordless clipper review 2 years later review.
Hmmmm! I’ve never had the pulling hair problem with my 00000. Maybe the speed isn’t up all the way, or the blade isn’t adjusted correctly. Weird scenario tho
yea the speed is all the way up.. just bought it on amazon and oiled them, and they are pulling today.. got the andis ceramic ones.. thinking if i should get the steel or oster ones for the supra..
I have oster blades with andis ceramic cutting blades. I haven't had a problem with either way. I wonder if you're moving to fast through the hair. Some clippers, you cannot speed through the hair, but let the clipper do the work. i've found that to happen sometimes.
I’m a ex hairdresser who has been hired to be my husbands barber while Mz. corona is still hanging around. His hair is exactly like this man’s, same length and growth pattern. We re purchasing new clipper and probably a T Outliner. Which Brand and Model of clippers would u suggest?
Today in the shop after watching your videos I literally faded 2 of my clients hair using nothing but detachables and wanted to thank you. My man 👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@@obasuyizeref60 you'll have to watch videos on it . if they are masters you might have to play with the tension screw that looks like a two hole needle-nose head the only way I Learned was by taking my clippers apart lots of patient and putting it back together

Get the oster octanes
I love the Video! I love to see people using the detachable blade system!
That's a great amazing clean cut congratulations God bless you

I glad you found it helpful. That’s what I do it for.

Damn! Come see me. I’ll help you out
Great video 👍 I noticed with salt and pepper hair you can’t focus on it to much because the contrast starts messing with your eyes 👀
I just got out the game. . gonna do other things now . but I loved to fade with my andis zrs too. ceramic blades are so clean
Good video.... enjoy the detachable cuts... i do my fades with detachables and depending on the hair i cleanup with cordless magic clip or babyliss pro fx673
That’s how I was taught, and it’s smarter that way. Idk why more people don’t use blades. They cut cleaner and faster.
@@IDOITTRAVELS facts..... keep the good content coming..... you just got a new subscriber
Thx! I’ll keep putting out relevant content.
Are you doing the fade down technique?

Just bought my first detachables. Oster 76. 000, 1,1 1/2, and 2 blades

i think i recall you saying you retired or quit barbering....i think you should reconsider and drop more content. Thank$ for thi$ content.
I’m still a barber. Maybe I’ll drop more barber content someday.
Do you prefer the end of supra over the Oster octane if so why are they lighter in weight how about the battery life?

looks good bruthas
Cut is 🔥
Good job my guy
Thx! I try.
great video man! just got the supras and the 00000 blade but its pulling hair and its oiled... any advice???

when cutting with the supras does hair get clumped inside them on the head of the clippers?
I have oster blades with andis ceramic cutting blades. I haven't had a problem with either way. I wonder if you're moving to fast through the hair. Some clippers, you cannot speed through the hair, but let the clipper do the work. i've found that to happen sometimes.
very true, but it was snagging even when going slow.. david falla said maybe it should be on 2 or 3 setting?? or im thinking it could be the tension?
Can you do a video on black man with gray hair fade
That will be tricky. I've gotta find the right client
Your ceramic 00000 doesn’t pull? Mines snags the skin
Nope! I don’t have that problem at all. I use it gently, and I even zero gapped my 00000.
mine pulled too today.. brand new and oiled it.. crazzy
I bought the ultra edge for that same reason . I only use the ceramics for shaping fros, beards clippers over comb or chopping big hair
I’ve struggled with cutting gray facial hair. Seems like it’s a bit more stubborn and I struggle to get clean lines
Is it one size ceramic for all blades because all I find is one
no! their is fine and coarse.
@@IDOITTRAVELS ok but but as far as 1 1a 1 1/2 etc it's the same?
@@IDOITTRAVELS cause supras are mad loud except the ceramic 000
The 000-00000 require a certain ceramic cutting blade, and the 1 and above all require the other. I cannot remember off hand which is coarse or fine.

Get some Andis Masters or Wahl Seniors, both with guards. T outliners to trim with, and you're going to be good.
MMA BARBER LIFE thanks so much for getting right back to me! Be safe!

l p I’m glad that what I showed made sense to you and that you can practically use the information I put out there. Take it to the next level.
What is an OA consider??? A 1 ??
No! A wahl fade blade open. Watch my video titled understanding detachable blades. It’ll break all of it down for you.
My clipper won't cut hair whenever the lever is open, what do I do I need help it killing me
That’s weird. Maybe the tension is off.
How do I set it sir
@@obasuyizeref60 you'll have to watch videos on it . if they are masters you might have to play with the tension screw that looks like a two hole needle-nose head the only way I Learned was by taking my clippers apart lots of patient and putting it back together
With blonde hair you have to keep the blend low
Agreed!!! That can also be said with fine and low density hair.
Dope...
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dope cut, but the line was still in the back.
I am 18 and have a bunch of those by the age of 30-40 I will be all grey I think 😂
Lol!
