I have been thinking about trying to make these for my coworkers. I hadn't even searched for how or voiced the thought and the algorithm nooked me up. These will be far more useful and less time consuming than making dreamcatchers for everyone. I now need to go through the blog and see what else I can find. 😊
I think I would like the sticky not cover with an adjustable cover, so as you use it , it won’t get crushed and it always fits the shrinking sticky not.
Hi, you could do that by adding a score line or two in between the small section at the top. and bottom. The problem will be that the adhesive circle will no long match up. You could use the kind that is in strips but as far as I know, they don't sell those in very thin so it would be bulky. You could also forget the circle and make a belly band going around the width of the notes.
It can. I usually put glue all around the back of the post it. If it breaks away, I just glue the next one in the back down. It depends on how much stress you put on the pad itself while using it. Thanks for reaching out.
You need to look at your post it's, they actually do different amount of sheets in each pack, if you buy them individually they have a larger amount, so thickness is different then the ones they sell in bulk ( 8+ pks.); at least that's what I noticed.
Thanks, yes I mention in the video that to be the case. You just need to adjust the placement of the scorelines. The whole thing can stay the same length, it just will have a larger overlap in the front. It's frustrating because it used to be all the same size. Thanks for checking with me though. Good heads up!
@@kellylynn6831 I will have to check it out. Depending on what the 2 1/2 is going across or up and down. Let me know and I can re-do the measurements for them!
@@kellylynn6831 So the width would be 2-5/8 (if you want that little edge for protection, or 2-1/2 if you don't care) by 8. The first score line would be at 2 then it would depend on how DEEP the pad is. The ones I just got where a quarter of an inch so the score lines would be 2, 2-1/4, 5-1/4, 5-1/2. Try it with regular copy paper first. You may need a little lea way (its hard to measure stickie note depth). So maybe try 2, 2-3/8, 5-3/8, 3-3/4. This last one worked the best for me. Good Luck
@@stampmesillyI tried to find the project sheet for the sticky notes but this link brings me to Christmas tree card. Do you still have the project sheet available for this project in the video? Thank you

Yes, it's just like a gallon of ice cream isn't a gallon and the potato chip bag has less chips. You can make small score marks in the section that folds up on the back and so it will fold tighter with less paper. Thanks!
I am making some of these for a craft show and your video is probably the best one I've seen yet good job
Oh MY GOSH! Thank you so much. I really appreciate the feed back.

Do you find that the post it pads break away from backing after put in holder?

I found post it brand sticky notes at dollar tree, it's a 2 pack, but they measure 2 1/2 x 3. Cute colors, some of them are real close to SU colors.

@@stampmesilly with sticky at the top it is portrait. So 2 1/2 across top and 3 down.
