- Hey guys! Today I do a review on my bobcat 463.. the real back bone of the operation. I think I failed to mention that it holds 7 gallons of diesel.. and it lasts forever on a tank.. no really it will make you think it works for nothing.
it is a blessing i found your channel. my friend and I have started our own firewood business here in california and we have been binge watching you like crazy. We have a 29 ton splitter and thats it right now! ! we want to upgrade to what you got going right now eventually it looks like a really good but also efficient setup. i thought for sure we would need a bigger skid steer. that machine is awesome.
lance99 hey welcome to the channel! Really appreciate you watching my videos. That’s sounds like a great start sir. How long have you been doing it? That’s awesome man. Deff take your time and let the business grow and upgrade your machines. Lil bob has been a god send on the wood lot and that lol thing will lift a half a house. Really look foreword to hearing more from you on the channel.
Nice vid and review...looks like it really is handy for getting a LOT of different tasks done. I'm still debating between something like this and a compact tractor...need something that can do various things from moving material to removing snow. Good stuff Wood Guy!!
Back 40 Firewood thanks man! Yes I think a compact tractor actually is a good idea.. they are so versatile for attachments and home use.. I have a smaller John Deere compact. I love it! The loader the mower deck! All very handy! You wouldn’t regret one especially for your firewood operation 👍🏻
I picked one up last fall and I call her Mighty Mouse. She is awesome:)))
The Bob Tach suffers with years of weather. I am rebuilding that end of machine first.
Like you said, Lil Bob is a real work horse! Great informative video 👍
i have one of these. 463 same thing. mine has about 570 hours. all of a sudden im backing up and see a line of oil on the ground. so i parked it waiting to have a full tune up. i hope its nothing crazy. but i heard they cahrge alot . someone told me that they could charge ten thousand for the full replacemnent of all the hoses and fluids. i hope that not it. keeping my fingers crossed that its not serious. cause the machine really works well just as good as a bigger machine. id like to get some attachments for it ,i only have a bucket. id like to get forks and a hammer fot it.. hope urs is still working well, thanks for the video.
Nice review! Looking forward to the next video
Kevin Riddle thankyou sir! Stay tuned! Much more coming 👍🏻
awesome video. i think its time.... starting to look now.
I'd kill for a little Bob. Bril machine.
Hey guy;
Not sure if you still answer comments.
I have a question bout wiring on the 463.
This one had 1100 hrs When they put a new engine in but it had a cpl wire issues so they bypassed a few things.
I picked her up at 1250 hrs, and she is a beast, I have replace (upsizing the original Bobcat tires and rims), Replaced original seat and much TLC:)))
I found a few broken wires, replaced hooking all but 1 back up to original spots.
Would you do me a favor- looking in from engine compartment, looking over the valve cover find the Glow plug white/tan wire exiting the main harness. - there is a grey ish wire that exits at same place..
Where does that greyish wire go?
Thanks for your time
Tom
Looks like a great machine . I just picked up a John Deere 250 but i don;t think it will fit thew a door.
vulcan5678 that John Deere is a nice unit👍🏻 I had a 4320 with the cab ac/heat bells and whistles.. and a 2520 open station. They both just didn’t really fit my wood lot like the lil bobcat was. So I sold them back in 2017.. aiming for a bigger bobcat with tracks someday 🙏🏻 really appreciate you watching
Wait the John Deere bucket fits right on there?
Wish you would have demonstrated the grapple attachment. What controls the grapple movement?
You move the right joystick outward to the right
Thanks for the video. Do you know if this uses standard low flow skid steer attachments?
So what needs to be done in order to use my John Deere bucket on my little Bobcat s70?
Where can I buy the wider tires for my BOBCAT S 70 ?
Hi, do you know what spec the bearings and races are for one of the back axles? In England there is zero aftermarket parts if you don’t know the oem specs like sizes.
Where can I get the forks and the excavator bucket
I just bought one but it only came with the regular bucket
I need the other two (fork and excavator bucket), the previous owner had no idea where to find them
What is the hydraulic capacity
Where is the chain case drain plug and fill? Just bought one and wanna replace that oil
Front . Down low
I need one of these
What size bucket was that
Baby tiger
wow did I get screwed..I paid 8 grand in 2021 on a 463 with 1700 hrs...but was like new...no dings now worn paint and new tires and all new fluids from bobcat service center...
That’s a Good deal my friend. I got really lucky with mine for $5k...... I also had some issues with it where I had to put some money into it to bring it up to the standard it is now... been a great machine! I sold mine last spring... I miss it dearly
Fred I got screwed even worse paid $9,000 for a 453 in 20 with 2 buckets. It is a nice little machine probably should have gotten a bigger one. Just depends you need a different horse for different jobs.
5k damn lucky

Man if you could message me or something I’d like to know what size thoes tires and wheels are i have a 463 and it has the skinny tires and it sinks I’d like to get the size you have
I am in the same exact situation. It looks like those pneumatic tires are the Way to go.
Clam jaw
I always got dogs
Minga it's like Donald Trump's lie lie lie
What size are those tires @thatwoodguy
That’s what I want to know what tires are those. Definitely looks like pneumatic tires on the way to go. I’m getting stuck everywhere with my solid tires.
