Looks like an excellent edition. I'm still jumping around between the 1662 International and 1979 Episcopal BCP, but I'll have to get hold of a copy of this one at some point.
Now Anglican House Publishers gives us this premium edition in addition to the regular, non-deluxe, "common" pocket edition BCP, along with the two pew size models (both modern and traditional language versions), a Deluxe Edition and the Premium Leather Edition. Finally, a massive Altar Edition! Oi vey!
A lovely little volume. Let's say a prayer for Anglican Liturgy Press to find a distributor for the *other* part of North America their church encompasses. Getting anything from them up to Canada is an expensive affair
@@glenconverse1327 Their site doesn't say, and Ben Jefferies in his review doesn't say. My unscientific assessment says 18 characters per inch. Which is: pretty small.
Double weird: my merely hardbacked e dition of the pocket-size 2019 BCP has 802 pages. Also, I thought that the premium edition was gonna have six ribbons.
@@dalecaldwell Mine has four ribbons, for sure, and their website reports it as such. The website says the Premium Pocket has 816 pages, but looking at my copy, it has 802 numbered pages, which is the same pagination as the standard pew edition. Maybe they're counting the introductory, non-numbered pages? Curious.
Interesting the page count is different, I'm also curious what changed. But more importantly, you did not not deeply inhale the aroma of premium leather and comment on how good it smells, or speak of the delight of how supple the leather is as all YT reviewers are required to do!
My daughter has been visiting the local Anglican Church lately. She really enjoys it. I am going to share your video with her.
That’s one handsome cover. Thanks for sharing!
very nice leather edition, I still use my 1969 dark blue hard cover version. Small but with my trifocals help a lot. take care

@@jamesdavey9690 Seems like it would be a good compromise between the two.

@@chris_wick Put the NA back in ACNA? I can support that.

Unfortunetaly it’s hard to get that in my country. The publisher doesn’t have delivery option to my country.

@@ma-mo I think Ben had said six ribbons when he announced it, just after I ordered the hardback, which is a delightful little book.
I believe they have discontinued the abridged version
@@JaysenStOnge I figured as much. Real shame because I really like that edition. Thanks!
