Yep! I think they are just the best! And, I really appreciate that Mandy doesn't force her son to be on camera if he doesn't want to. Love this whole family.
1st time I discovered you and your recipes! Yummy but easy - all 4 biscuit recipes will be tried! I will now have to watch other episodes…thanks for giving me some new things to do other than my “ normal “ cooking. I have a great hubby who loves to eat and is very adaptive to whatever I make. After 53 years of marriage, I still love to cook and he still lives to eat - a perfect combination! We give God the glory for our years together and pray for many more ahead!
Amen to that! I'm almost 72, and the more simple and easy, the better. One of these biscuits is a full meal for me.Yum! Pam in South Carolina. Happy and Safe New Year to all!!!😊🤗
Pillsbury has canned honey biscuits...split in half into muffin tin, fill bottom with apple or cherry pie filling. Top with rest of biscuit little cinnamon sugar on top. Bake as on can. Just turned 75..love simple easy recipes.
You two are so cute together. In the morning, sometimes I’ll make a quick Cowboy Coffee Cake. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8”x8” glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Put a can of biscuits in, side by side. Melt 1/4 cup of butter. Mix in 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of chopped nuts (I usually have walnuts), 1/4 cup raisins(optional), and 1 tsp. cinnamon. I pour the melted mixture over the biscuits and bake for 20 minutes. Check at 15 minutes (ovens vary). I use the plain small biscuits. Grands might take a few more minutes. Serve. I’ve also done this with canned cinnamon rolls. After it’s done, I drizzle the frosting packet over it while it’s hot. Delicious. Both recipes look and taste like scratch. I’ll probably throw one together Christmas morning to snack while we open gifts.
Canned biscuit doughnuts are my weekend go to with my kids. Just slightly flatten the dough, cut a hole with a 2 liter cap, free hand it, etc. Then fry it up and you've got easy, fast, budget friendly doughnuts! A dozen at Kroger costs 7.99 or Dunkin 8.99 & you can make double that for 3 cans of biscuits under $5 PLUS the doughnut holes left from cutting out the center! I put out glazes, frosting, and different toppings to make it a family project so everyone can have what they want while spend time together.
I remember when I first made those biscuit donuts in 1964 at a Girl Scout over night. I went home and made them for my siblings. The can of biscuits was 10 cents back then lol
I remember my mom making them when I was a kid, she'd use a thimble she kept in the kitchen just for that purpose to make the donut hole & roll it in sugar or cinnamon sugar when it came out. Nothing better than a warm donut.
I remember 50some years ago my granny would open a few cans of "whopem" ( you whop them on the counter to open them) biscuits and poke a hole in the center, fry them in a skillet then roll them in powdered sugar! We were walking in tall cotton!
For the breakfast biscuit bombs, if you scramble everything together it makes stuffing them extra full easier since everything is already incorporated together ❤
For the dessert, I use canned cinnamon rolls and a can of apple pie filling. I usually add to the apple pie filling with more sugar (1 cup), 2 to 4 tablespoons of apple pie spice, and vanilla. Put the cinnamon rolls in the bottom and put the apple pie spice mix over the top. When done, use the frosting on top from the cinnamon rolls.
I recently saw someone do the canned cinnamon rolls on a waffle iron. When done they drizzled the icing on them. I haven't tried it yet but they looked awesome.
Canned bisquits are the BEST!! Try this: separate bisquits into 2 (or 4) layers. Put your fave filling on a layer, then wet your finger and wet the edge all around. Place another layer on top and press the edges together. Paint the top with butter. Bake and enjoy! They don't leak (most of the time! 🤞) so they're good to take along. I love your recipes!!! 🥰
I cook dinner nearly 7 days out of the week and just have been lost for meals to fix. FINALLY found your channel and you prepare meals with "common" ingredients!! I adore you channel. I even ordered Auntie Nono's and oh myyyyy. Thank you!!!!
Aw, thank you Teresa!! That's my goal. Make real food with common and inexpensive ingredients. :) So glad you are here and I'm so happy you love Auntie Nono's as much as we do!
My Chicken Cordon Bleu bake is in the oven! I had fun watching you on my tv make it(and the other biscuit recipes) as I was making it! Felt like you were here. Have a good evening!
I've been watching you now for quite awhile. I just all the joy and teaching you give to me and alot of people who also watch your channel. Thank you Mandy for all you do. Love you and your family. Always Yvonne
The meatball sub recipe is the best one so far. I have only made three of your recipes but I love this one so much. I recently found your channel and I am so glad I did. I am really enjoying the the recipes.
Girl, you chose the perfect recipes using those biscuits. Which is why I love your channel. You choose recipes right down my alley! I wouldn’t have chosen as well as you did. Thanks so much for sharing these recipes with your viewers.
I really enjoy your videos and that you share your home, family, recipe's and Grace the cheese-cat. Last night I made canned biscuits stuffed with shredded cheddar & shredded mozzarella, some heated precooked (kirkland costco) bacon and a bit of browned ground beef. The family LOVED! I thought I made enough to bring to work for lunch today, but it was wiped out, inhaled and annihilated lol!
Watching your two men gobble down your delicious food is pure joy to see them appreciate what you made. Just a lovely family. Thanks for all these delicious foods! 🎄🌴🙏
I love using canned biscuits! So much easier than making them. I have also used them to make “uglies”. Use the grand biscuits, press into a muffin tin - bottom and up the sides (spray first). Then get out your leftovers, chop up, fill the “muffins”, cover with cheese and bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes! Easy and quick way to use leftovers!
Love every e of these recipes and will be trying them this fall/winter, (its 106 here now). I'm a retired senior citizen and theses are going to be so much easier to whip up!! Thank you Mandy, you have a new subscriber! Stevens remarks are just the ice cream on the pie!!! Love that and the sons 2thumbs up!!
My husband loved the breakfast biscuits! They were delicious! The bacon one is definitely better than the one with ham. He said to tell Mandy thank you!
You know, the CHICKEN CORDON BLEU BUBBLE UP BAKE would be a great recipe for leftover turkey and ham during the holidays. I would add this to the list to have on hand.
I'm with Steven on warm desserts and cold ice cream! My mom used to make a DELICIOUS homemade blueberry cobbler. It was sooo good with vanilla ice cream.
I am a 69 divorced male who lives near waco.never cooked before. I love SIMPLE things to cook. Thank you for the stuffing vid. Diabetic colon cancer survivor on ozepic which KILLS both my apitite and my motivation. Again thanks for the motivation.
Thank's Mandy for all four recipes . The biscuit an apple pie filling . I would add chopped pecans or walnuts . Have a great evening . You and Family .
Oh YES!! I LOVE all of these recipes. So SIMPLE and YUMMY!! I saw your other Biscuit video and they were all HITS too. I also really dig how your husband is your taste tester. Very cool!! You guys are great together. Thanks loads for sharing them with us. Arlene
I watch several "what's for dinner" type TH-cam channels but yours is, hands down, my favorite. I adore your family and the fact that your husband and son participate and review just makes your channel so unique. I am sending all of you all of the love that I have in my heart!
These are ALL winners! I'd been looking for something to change up my dinner routine, and I just know my kids & husband will LOVE these biscuit dough recipes! Thank you, Mandy, can't to try these!!! 🤩
I liked the spaghetti & meatballs recipe the best! If I had a stove/oven I would make this almost every day & add different pizza ingredients each time! Mushrooms one day, peppers another day, pepperoni another day and the meatballs every day! 😊💖🐈
Yahoo you gave me some great new ideas.. I have to feed my hubby 3 meals a day and after all these years I am so tired of the same old stuff.. Looking forward to making all of these now.. Lunch HERE I COME.
I salute you for all your Simple and Delicious recipes. At times like we are going through, your recipes are great for depressions and don't even seem like it because they are, simple, easy, cost worthy healthy and just plain good. Even a bachelor like me can make them and enjoy your videos and your smile. Thanks for helping get over the depression eating with your recipes.
I just made the apple pie with the biscuits. It was fantastic! My almost 16 year old Grandson had two servings plus requested this for his birthday instead of a birthday cake. A HUGE hit in my house!
BRILLIANT video Mandy. So inspirational. Excited to try all these ideas... breakfast bombs may be this weekend for house guests... 1/2 with mustard glaze and 1/2 with a sweet honey bun glaze. THANK YOU for the excellent show & tell (and also THX to your taste testers for their forthright reviews)!
You both are so great!! Your son as well 💙 I love your relationship and how you two interact with each other. Your videos are so fun to watch and I always want to try your recipes. So glad I came across your channel .
I really enjoyed this video . I was raised on biscuits in Florida but have lived in the UK now for 34 years . Here biscuits are cookies, they just don't do or get them here. Recently I have decided enough is enough. I don't want to do without them any more and have perfected a homemade recipe to bake them and these recipes you have demonstrated are just perfect for me to get the biscuit message out to my kids!
I just started watching your videos. I truly am enjoying them. Love your kindness and sweet personality shining through the camera. Glad you share with your fur babies as well. Enjoy hubby’s 2 cents at the end. God bless
Great videos I have four children and they’re all Grown up now I am 75 And I used to use canned biscuits for cinnamon rolls it’s a great idea roll them out put your cinnamon rolls in the pan and bake them then frost them. Also are used to take and fried them in strips and then put them in sugar and cinnamon after they were fried try that it’s really good
My husband: I hate cilantro. Me: It's a main ingredient in my Mexican Rice Casserole which you love. Husband: I hate capers. Me: It's a main ingredient in my pasta sauce which you love. I don't think husbands know what "hate" means. 🤣
I made the chicken cordon bleu dish last night and it was DELICIOUS! I expected it to be good but this far surpassed "good." I followed the recipe exactly which is rare for me as I like to make little tweaks. Next time I make this (and there will be a next time) I will make two small changes. As much as I love bread and biscuits I felt the ratio of biscuits to cream sauce was a bit heavy on the biscuits. I will use a slightly smaller pan and only use 6 of the biscuits, saving the other two for breakfast the next morning. Secondly the cream cheese with chives is awfully expensive so I will use a block of store brand cream cheese and add some chives and green onions. Thanks for sharing this EZ and tasty recipe.
Oh my goodness...these recipes look delicious! I'm especially interested in the Meatball Sub Bubble-Up Bake and the Skillet Apple Pie Biscuits. I will be making them soon. 😋 I love Stephen's reactions to your dishes. He's a great taste-tester! And Gracie is precious. ❤ Karen from Florida
Just found your channel...love these shortcut family friendly recipes. Anything with bread, cheese, bacon and/or ham is a WINNER. Can't wait to share these with my grandchildren (maybe their parents will be lucky enough to get a bite)! Looking forward to watching you more...
I'm really excited to try these recipes. I enjoyed seeing and hearing your family's description and reaction to these recipes. Thanks for sharing them!
I love your vlog. ❤😊..I also love watching your husband's reaction to tasting your delicious recipes. He smiles through his 👀 eyes as well. You guys are adorable. 😊
I made this skillet apple dessert a month ago and it was so good. But tonight I made this recipe with canned cherry pie filling and we loved it even better.
What an adorable family! I am so glad I click this video on my suggestions from TH-cam. It didn't take me long to like and subscribe either. I love how down to earth, warm and funny Mandy's presentation and approach to a normal cooking experience that we all do in our own homes. I love to cook but I also don't want to keep buying expensive ingredients and spend all day in the kitchen and end up with left over spices/ingredients that I will probably not use much. I work and when I come home I want something simple and tasty. These biscuit dough recipes are awesome. I have made Chicken and Dumplings with canned biscuits and it is so easy to make and a good comfort food on a cold night. I love how your husband and son and even the adorable kitty gets involved and are so supportive of your cooking. Good Job and I will be getting me some more canned biscuits soon.
You are a breath of fresh air with those beautiful and yummy recipes!! God Bless and I will sure be trying most of them!❤ Love it that your hubby is so sweet and son are supportive!
I made the meatball bubble up, so freaking good! I did use Rhodes dinner rolls, instead of the biscuits, came out perfect! Tonight, I'm trying the chicken cordon Bleu.
I made this and family loved it. Can't wait for grand kids to spend the night. I know they will love it too. It is so quick and easy to make. Thank you!❤❤❤
Just had a chance to finish watching and wanted to say -- I really enjoyed this one. All of the recipes were different from anything I'd seen or tried before. Very creative!
I am making the skillet apple pie bake for our Thanksgiving dessert. I'm going to cut the biscuits into 4ths and then roll them in the butter and brown sugar mixture. I appreciate you sharing your ideas with us every week. You have a lovely family. Blessings❤️
Thank you Mandy for these great recipes! I'd have to say apple pie is my favorite especially with extra cinnamon. Hard decision which of these to try first. Enjoy your day 😊
Also is anyone else apart of the Steven fan club?! I love him so much and I love the way he looks at Mandy and supports her in every video!
I'm a fan of Steven as well. He seems like he is a great husband. Caring and funny!
They are an adorable couple.
Gracie needs a fan club too. Our motto is "Cheese for everyone!"
I'm 83 and can still appreciate a fine, handsome man when I see one!!! Going to try all 4 of your recipes.

These ideas are great, especially for someone like me, who, at 72 yrs. of age is so done with fussy recipes! Thank you! You’ve got a new subscriber!
We are about the same age. I have loved finally having the time to do the "fussy recipes" I never seemed to have time to make before lol

I love Stephen's reactions to your dishes. He's a great taste-tester! And Gracie is precious. ❤ Karen from Florida
Your family is so sweet and funny. You're a joy to watch. Thank you so much!❤
Saving all of these recipes! They all looked delicious!
I am so excited to find your channel! So far everything looks so good. Thanks for the help with our crazy life chores
I made this skillet apple dessert a month ago and it was so good. But tonight I made this recipe with canned cherry pie filling and we loved it even better.
I love how your family appreciates your cooking! The faces made and comments they make is priceless hehe love it! I love getting feedback like that💜🤗
They are the cutest couple and a son to boot!!
These dishes look amazing. This is the first time I've ever printed out every recipe. These all look like winners!
Your hubby looked at you with true love after that apple dessert lol. Looks delicious ❤️
You're one of the best channels I have seen that makes such delish meals from a can of biscuit dough.
These all look so delicious! The apple and breakfast recipes are my fave!
You are a breath of fresh air with those beautiful and yummy recipes!! God Bless and I will sure be trying most of them!❤ Love it that your hubby is so sweet and son are supportive!
Thank you the chicken ham bake is our new family favorite and is moving into our regular rotation 💜
Just made the skillet apple pie biscuits - big hit with the grandkids - served with eggs. Thanks so much for your recipe.
I'm always looking for easy new recipes, can't wait to try these!
I loved your videos before but I have to admit when y’all cook together they are even better because y’all are so cute together.
Glad you enjoyed it! That's what I was hoping for!
I love how both of them act with each other. Great food.
Ohhhh the child is cool too.
Oh my Mandy we tried the meatball sub bubble up . It was so good adding it to my rotation thanks again . Going to try the dessert next.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who appreciates Steve 😂. I believe him when he says he likes. It means I can feed my family on family dinner night
I am making the skillet apple pie bake for our Thanksgiving dessert. I'm going to cut the biscuits into 4ths and then roll them in the butter and brown sugar mixture. I appreciate you sharing your ideas with us every week. You have a lovely family. Blessings❤️
Ohh I so happy to see you using that shredder. It makes me shake when I see others shred by hand. I knew you were my kind of cook.
Thank you Mandy for these great recipes! I'd have to say apple pie is my favorite especially with extra cinnamon. Hard decision which of these to try first. Enjoy your day 😊
