    Great to watch a real life situation rather than a pre prepared set up video. I have the classic 350 but in the grey colour and I am about to fit the low rider seat so Thank You both for taking the time to make this video. Love from the UK x

      We're all really new at riding, and mechanical stuff in general. Usually Tyler will watch a couple videos beforehand and then try to relay that information to Beki and Jake. It feels a bit more real, at least to us 🤷‍♂️ Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching.

    I think u should try to make it a single seat bike by removing the rear ...... because trust me classic looks absolutely beautiful as a single seat ❤

    Tec bike parts sell rear shocks that will lower your bike another 2o - 30 cm then you can drop the front by sliding the fork tubes up through the yokes to level the bike.

    She is right to insist that when you are doing a DIY you should buy the correct tools. Over the years you will have a collection of tools that will hold you in good stead. Buy high quality. After a time get a nice big tool chest to keep all your tools organized. Good to see you doing your own work.

    Great addition's to accommodate your riding comfort. Becky, Did you try sitting on the Meteor as opposed to the sitting stance on the classic 350.?
    I found that the classic 350 felt like one was sitting forward. Both are lower than the Himalayan obviously at the seat. "Charlie" across the Pond lowered her Himalayan seat height so she could flat foot stationary. ( 5'3"" If I remember correctly). Your Classic is looking absolutely sweet with the new additions. Riding these single cylinders are such a hoot at 30 to 45 MPH.
    Please initiate a shout out when the "Hunter" hits a showroom in the lower 48. Ride Safe! ( Mr. ED... Red Chiye-tanka)( Vegas where the wind blows)

      I rode the meteor on our last trip up to Throttle Company. It feels a little lower as far as seat height. Meteor feels like you're sitting in it while the Classic feels like you're sitting on top of it a little bit. I like them both and they both have their pros and cons. We bought our bikes before we fully knew how to ride so we didn't feel comfortable test riding. I'm still 100% happy with my decision though.

      @@CurlyWolf_ Did not get much of a test ride either Like we watch on the Tube. Recieving the bike also was not as we see on utube. I was handed the keys......when I arrived home, tires had 10 pounds of air. Thank God their are some cycle centers that are professional.
      Appreciate your feedback. I ride only with HI Viz in Vegas. Stay safe Tyler/ Beki 👍💪

    I have the same bike, with stock seat - which is ok for me as I am taller. When stationary, I stabilise the bike with the front brake only and can then put either or both feet to the ground

    • @CurlyWolf_

      She mostly keeps the foot on the rear brake in order to train herself to automatically do that when she stops on a hill.

    I got the Meteor, cause it was lower than the Classic. Then put the low seat on my Meteor.
    I am 5 foot 5, with 27 inch leg. On tippy tip toes.
    The low seat on your gives, I think 30mm, Meteor’s low an extra whopping 11mm. Every bit helps.
    I have now purchased the Touring seat, and put to custom trimmer, who will lower it 30mm, and replace the foam with medical gel/memory foam.
    So hopefully gain an extra 19mm over, my low seat, but be more comfortable too, with the better look the touring seat gives.
    Just found your channel, already hit the subscribe button.😊
    Have you heard of “Coastrider Scotland” he has a great channel, on his Classic 350, Willys Jeep, fat tyre mountain bike.
    Cheers, Wee Mark.😊

    The Classic is the best looking bike on the market. There's nothing from Triumph, Harley or Indian 4x the price that I like more than this. I wish it had more poke at the top end to eat up highways that's the only thing putting me off getting one.

    The seat didn't look much lower to me? I have looked at the Meteor 350 low seat in the dealer's and that seems significantly lower. I have a 30" inseam and ride a Scram, after years of riding cruisers, so that feels high to me.

    • @CurlyWolf_
      @CurlyWolf_  ปีที่แล้ว

      It really isn't that much lower. I think maybe about an inch total. We tried to point it out in the video but the seat is also a different shape where it meets the tank which makes it easier to get your feet on the ground. The Meteor in general feels lower than the Classic.

    • @haxan6663
      @haxan6663 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Curly Wolf I know that Guzzis always had wide seats, which made them awkward for shorter riders. I had a lower seat option for one of my Shadow 1100s but the narrow front made it less comfortable than the standard one (which wasn't too high anyway).
