Holy, what a whirlwind of wonderful character interactions, it didn't seem like it was ever going to end. Malia has truly become the queen of Disneyland. All the characters just jump at the opportunity to play and interact with her. And hooray for Tutu! And Mark!

Could not agree more, Ash! A lot of the park guests that come to see our characters with their children often stifle the interaction by forcing a posed photo while the child is talking to or hugging the character. They aren't just props for photographs. Let your child meet them, the characters love that more than anything. More times often than not, the candid photos that hosts or Photpass take come out much more meaningful then the posed photo moment is. It's sad to me because it is very often the parents who force things into the interaction and therefore detract from the child and character's interaction. Imagine you talking to a friend you haven't seen in a long time while some third party shouts "Okay now hug them! Aww give them a little kiss on the photo. Okay, photo photo, come on." Maybe this was a bit of a negative rant, but overall I think it serves to show that your family is showing a guiding example in how to approach the characters and the receive those special moments. Love you all, glad to see you all!

I'm SO glad characters still walk around and ride rides with kids every once in a while at Disneyland. I never really see that at Disneyworld and thought they had put a stop to it at Disneyland.
We hear that all the time 😞 It's a whole different kind of park and we understand they can't roam WDW, but it's refreshing to see sometimes. They've actually started doing a lot more in Disneyland lately. They sometimes don't even have character hosts as they roam.
That's fantastic! It warms my heart to see these kinds of interactions! (And makes me a biiit jealous ahaha). Last I heard a few years back they were stopping completely. Hearing about this makes me SO happy, you don't even know! I wonder if things get better they'd consider bringing that over to DW. I think it may have to do with the park's size though?
We have heard from other cast members it does have to do with the fact that WDW is just so much bigger than DL and there are more guests at that park. But who knows things could change in the future 😃

My boyfriend and I have Disneyland annual passes, and have seen you many times in the parks but never stopped you cause malia is just having WAY TO MUCH FUN to interrupt!!
