Ironic this game made Mary Kelly look peaceful, in reality Mary Kelly's murder was the most gruesome. She was the only one he killed indoors so he had time to really go to town on the mutilation of her, it was horrible.

I played a hidden object game called 'Abducted'. It's about a teen girl who's abducted by this mysterious man that takes her to an abandoned warehouse filled with junk. As I got further into the game, the puzzles kept getting creepier and creepier. For example, one of the hidden object puzzles was to find all the girl's missing teeth that the guy pulled out while she was unconscious! The guy would also taunt the girl/the player by saying how he will "play" with you when he catches you over an intercom. At the end of the game, you escape by driving away in a car but, you never get to see the man's face. I don't recommend this game.
Why are all the people in these stories so frightened? if I went through this Id just be going "ooooh coooool" over and over. I see no reason to be frightened
The part about the murder scenes being way too detailed and gruesome reminded me of a real game I played called 999. When people died in that murder game the scenes and descriptions were extremely detailed, like you could smell the disgusting fishy last meal of the guy who exploded from a bomb in his organs and his intestines got strewn about.
I don't think Mary Kelly's death could be considered "peaceful" if you look at the crime scene photos hers was the most horrific brutal death of all his victims. It was her death that helped make the Jack the ripper mystery last and last.
What's truely terrifying is the fact that the culprit was never found. And, if he had kids, the kids would never know their parent was a rapist and a murderer. Then they'd have kids one of his ancestors might also do such horrific shit because their ancestor's psychological issues could've been hereditary. And the kids would never know that it all started in 1888 in England...
Me, who seen Ripper documentaries, familiar with the Night Stalker, Zodiac Killer, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, HH Holmes when I was a kid: How did the murder photos made the game evil or OP puke? Funny thing is, all of those gory scenes are what actually happened. The game censored it to make it acceptable for all ages. If you simply search for Mary Kelly on google, you can find the photo he was talking about. Believe it or not, the actual scene was even worse than what the narrator described in the story. So, by finding all of the hidden objects, you get to investigate the murders with scenes more realistic to what actually happened... That's disturbing if you imagine seeing it, but that's actually kind of cool. This CP isn't all that great, but I give the writer credit in saying that he most definitely did his research on Jack the Ripper.

Are you sure you don't mean MYST? And if you do mean MYST you should have tried the sequel RIVEN. It was a more difficult game as a whole than getting the best ending in MYST in my personal opinion.

You know, there was actually going to be a Jack the Ripper game. I should know; it was going to be made by the same studio as my game. However, it was cancelled before it ever got off the ground. I don’t know exactly why, but it might of had something to do with the fact that Jack was going to be a good guy, while his victims were vampires in disguise. I loved Visceral, but even I felt that making a game like that would be tasteless. Besides, I heard rumors that the Jack they made attacked one of the developers. If a character attacks a developer at an EA studio, the character is often euthanized.
When the story started, I was expecting the guy to be murdered by Jack the ripper. I'm honestly surprised he wasn't. It's become such a cliche for the game to haunt/kill the main character that the story almost doesn't seem complete lol.

Try some of the experiments pastas, they touch on fear of the human id, not terrifying by any means, but a bit too dark, even for my own taste.

this is why i'm not a fan of these "video game glitch" stories, 90% of the time there's no danger to the main character or real world consequences, its just them over-reacting to shit, i mean yeah i'd be a little shocked if a kids game like that but its not worth being traumatized over, once you get over the initial shock of "hey, this game isn't supposed to end like that!" most of them are actually kinda cool
