I have had a few of these over the years and reliable. Battery life has only been disappointing. But I suppose that has been an Intel issue for years so Huawei not to blame.
Bought it for 790 euro's last week (too cheap not to buy). It's a shame I had to return it due to getting a lot of eye-strain. It really is difficult to find an oled laptop with a sleek glass panel that does not hurt my eyes. PWM-dimming problem? Maybe it's because of the glass panel/touch layer? I've got an older Asus zenbook 14 with 3k oled screen without a glas panel/touch input and it's fine. Have you heard of similar problem with Oled laptops that have a glass panel/touch layer?
I literally tried to watch a good Review on this Laptop and watched so many of them and yours really by far the greatest of them all :) I found this unit for 880€ and really consider to buy it because I didn’t found any competition for this price what is that good especially 120hz OLED, I don’t know if I like the battery that much, only small concern but again: Finally i found a really good review :)
@@veroniquebeaulaton7349 I found it on the German Media Markt/Saturn Website for 879€ for only the grey Model, green one is at least 1400€ as far as I saw it
About a year ago I scored a realme Book Prime in green for only 600 euros for my wife, and she has been using it ever since. This Huawei Matebook looks exactly the same - the color, shape, position of the power button, even the rubber feet! This newer model from Huawei does have some additional ports and upgraded specs - nevertheless, I wonder what's the situation with "licensing" the chassis from realme.
Not so much Realme but an ODM that sells the design and makes them to others to brand as there own. Xiaomi laptops also have a similar look and design to others like Lenovo.
Hi there! I know my comment is off topic, but is there any chance to make a camera comparison between the new Sony Xperia 1 VI and the Galaxy S24 Ultra or any other flagship phone? Unfortunately I see almost nobody doing that.
350 nits? This isnt sufficient. I want a product like this and I like the higher aspect ratio and I want touch - but I also want to be able to use it outside! I do now own a MBA M1, cause of Resolve Studio. But I hate MAC OS sooo much. The MBA M1 is rated as 400 nits as well and it is "ok" outside. But it is IPS - OLED is not ideal outside by design and imho needs to be brighter, isnt it?
@@hadenkriztenzen Apple is but still don't like MacOS as much. But I agree that Windows 10 is better and 11 yes kinda sucks especially now how bloated up it is becoming.

Yes , i have the huawei m pencil (3rd gen) by nearlink but somehow the charger and the pencil doesnt even work on this huawei laptop and they said in Sg region, there is no support for that! How could this even sound logical?! (in fact, i make sure i got the right pencil and charger before i purchased them)
Other than the webcam and speakers, this blows the Surface Laptop 6 for Business 13.5 out of the water.
That's correct 💯😁

The ports, it's Thunderbolt 4 or just USB C?
Thunderbolt, another USB C port SD/MicroSD slot are a miss otherwise an excellent laptop (Happy MateBook 13 user for the past 4 years 🙂)!
is this laptop good for netflix and youtube and watching movies
Sure is.
Awesome review Chris Sir
Thank you kindly
Nice video, thank you 🙋🏼♂️

You pay alot extra for an OLED screen but if once you go OLED, you can't go back to IPS....it would be like going back to an old TN panel
in Canada its not touchscreen right?
Wich better asus vivobook s14 2024 or this laptop?
Can you test it with Linux ? Found, thanx!

Hi, not sure I will buy the Sony Xperia 1 VI sorry.
@@Techtablets I understand you, it is a very expensive device. 😔

In other tests it reached 400 nits and even more. Seems like there is a high variance in tests, but I am sure it has the 400 Nits :D
Is there a Linux version ? How does it compare to?
Is it just me or does opening File Explorer seem to be a little slow? This is also the case in my Matebook 14 2022 after upgrading to Windows 11.
Windows 11 is only getting worse I have noticed with all the added bloatware with recent updates.
@@Techtablets should have stick to Windows 10. Yaay!
My Matebook XPS from 2022 is horrible with animations especially going between virtual desktops. Compared with a MB Air, it is night and day.
@@andyH_England apple is really good when it comes to animation. I didn't have any problem with it on windows 10. Windows 11 sucks!

nice thumbnail duo for the two matebooks :)
and those WA notifications made me do a triple take LOL
😁 thanks
single type-c is deal breaker. I've seen plenty broken type-c ports on repair channels.
How bright is this is it better than the xpro

Yes it's stuck in customs

how much does this laptop cost?
Just over 1000 euros I think 1099.
