I hate being broke more than that however. And i like low stress, cannot fathom at age 47 trying to be an entrepreneur and chase clients/business. I'm in good physical shape and do volunteer work to fulfill my non-professional goals. Also raising 3 kids
Good point my boy. I’m currently getting back into my hobbies hoping that they may lead to an entrepreneurial road. I’m just afraid it may cause me to not enjoy my hobbies as much if I turn them into an occupation. What u think big homie?
Wow that is a tough childhood. I'm so glad he was able to turn that into something wonderful. I have been a fan of that panning technique for decades lol.
There might be something to this. Speaking more generally, maybe more people will go into business for themselves, which generally requires being multifaceted/multi-disciplined.
@@dpclerks09 Yes, that's what I mean. I'm a firm believer in self-employment is absolutely the future. Especially in America, move to a state that has good self-employment laws and policies.
Neal you have these amazing guests and somehow still haven’t figured out how to shut your mouth and let people talk. Do you need a producer? Do you need help? Stop talking. Are you nervous? It’s seriously infuriating. Respect your guests.
50 seconds in and I am more inspired than ever as to what type of interviewer traits I want to ensure I do not have. The constant interruption is such a disrespectful gesture. If you want to be the focus of the video do a monologue video, but if interviewing them, we want them to speak and share their story. 15 seconds in he is talking about his mom having cancer and you abrupty cut him off? What's going through your mind when you do such a thing?
This interviewer is so annoying, Always jumping in and ruining the flow.
No matter what job I pick eventually I get disgruntled because I hate having someone being able to tell me what to do. I hate being an employee
Me too, so get stoned all cause it's my life

I just saw another interview with Ken Burns. One of the things: : he gets excited about his subject.
maybe don't make a joke when he's discussing the death of his mother
yeah just let the guest talk without making unnecessary comments
Lol
he‘s a comedian? he‘s always gonna look for the joke instinctively… if you don‘t like that, just watch podcasts by non-comedians.
@@eb1184 it showed up on my list
It sounded to me like he got suddenly very frustrated over not having control over the conversation. Control issues. Not funny.
I saw Ken once while riding the subway in Brooklyn
Careers don't even matter anymore. The whole idea needs to be put to bed. A polymath is the future!

Agreed! Non-linearity is the only way to live a professional life.
@@raymond_sycamore Hell Yeah, Brother! Amen to that! 🙏🙌
people with those kind of intellectual capabilities are very rare in society

Welcome back Neal
He finally has normal hair. Looks great! Lol
Did Neal find his humanity?
If Ken grew his hair out long, he could join a Ramones tribute band. Yay! lololol
Gabba Gabba Hey!
I'm just glad he got rid of that retarded haircut he was sporting for a long time...I love the guy's work but he looked like his mom cut his hair.
Wtf?
Tommy?

Beware of Botchco!
interviewer is young. he'll learn it isn't about him. "career" did not need to come up from behind. never try too hard. and don't be cute.
Hey Ken, are you still hanging around with Clarence and Harlan? You are who you hang with.
Guess that makes you an absolute nobody
LOL
