ℹ️ About this episode:
In this episode of LivinRvision, we’re wrapping up our whirlwind weekend trip to visit "FOUR National Parks in One Weekend!" Previously, we revisited Zion (from our trip four years ago) and explored Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks (as shown in last week's video, Part 1). Now, we’ll discover if it's truly possible to experience four of the Mighty Five National Parks in just one weekend.
You might be wondering why we’re cramming so much into a single weekend. Well, as we mentioned last weekend, we need to get back to Iowa for Mother’s Day and only have weekends available for our adventures. We can't take weekdays off at the moment, and we still have several stops to make before reaching Iowa.
Moreover, when you apply for a National Park filming permit, you must adhere to the specific days and times listed on the permit. Some parks also restrict filming in certain areas.
Join us as we find out if two days is enough time to explore these four incredible National Parks.
We hope you enjoy the journey! 🧡😊🤓

My wife Belinda and I enjoy your videos. We get great ideas from your videos.
Just Wow! That was awesome. Thanks for going through the effort of getting the permit!❤
You may already know this , if you go to Arches and arrive before 6 am, you can bypass the entrance fees. We went early , were like the fifth van in the lot, got to arches parking lot, had breakfast, coffee and a quick shower, then off to the top! We took 10 days to do, Zion, Bryce, canyon land, Moab and Yellowstone. Going back for the Tetons this summer…
Yes. Many National Parks are that way. Our plans took us to Canyonlands first.
“Loving Utah”. We are with you, definitely our favorite destination. Your videography was excellent.
Amazing scenery! A quick trip guide is great! We can’t always spend a week or more. Thank y’all for another great video!
Wow, wow and wow! Beautiful background music as well.
I know the Explorer Act passed in the House back on April 9th. I'm not sure when the Senate will vote on it, but hopefully, they will pass it, and this nonsense of getting permits to film in National Parks will be over.
I'm thrilled you had a great time in my beautiful state of Utah. It's truly a place like no other, and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Love all your videos 🌹
You made amazing videos featuring your weekend visit to these 4 National Parks. The Moad area is so beautiful and Dead Horse Point is well worth a return visit. My son and his family used to live in Moab so we visited the area many times. He proposed to our daughter in law at sunrise at Delicate Arch, so it is an extra special place for our family. Please return to Moab sometime there is so much more to see in that area, including the nearby mountains.
Awe thanks! That is so cool. What a memorable place to propose.
Yes, we plan to go back to see more, but it all is definitely worth a weekend trip if that’s all
someone has time for. 🧡😊🤓
This video was absolutely fabulous! I love traveling with you and as always Brian your music was spot on. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Bless you both and safe travels. 🤗🙏😍
IMHO Utah is the most beautiful state of all the states. Thank you for 2 excellent videos showing just how beautiful it is. One of my favorite places is Cedar Breaks. It’s off the main drive a bit but worth the extra mile. Safe travels…
Another great video! Beautiful scenery!
Really enjoyed this series! We never got the passport either. We are sticker people too! Sticker people unite lol 😝 our next two NP will definitely be Canyonlands and Arches! I also want to go do Escalante and the slot canyons.
Desert was 103 yesterday had an appointment and a Costco run. You left just in time! ❤
My Step Dad’s name was Dewey no kidding!
I love the music you chose to play during the views.
ALL so STUNNING! Great choice of music Brian.
Awesome video coverage. Thank you for sharing. Well done.
I traveled taking “the long route” to Seattle from Palm Desert a few years ago and covered much of what you have covered but took a week to do it and I still didn’t see everything. Thank you so much for amazing photography. Now I know I need to get back there! ❤️
There is the whole controversy of "camping vs parking over night." Some say parking overnight is not camping. They believe you can park for one night when there are no signs saying specifically "no parking overnight".
We drove back to this same spot the very next night and there were zero people “parked or camped” there. Our take was that the heavy rains made it impossible to camp in some of the BLM areas in fear of getting stuck.
Spectacular videography thank you very much for enduring the permit process and sharing your visit with us all, and as always, thanks for the history lesson.👊👍😎
Another great video. We have enjoyed all of the National Parks we have visited, but for us, Canyonlands is our favorite, primarily because it is so accessible. We brought along a Jeep and was able to travel the Shafer Trail that you filmed from above. Renting a Jeep is well worth it! Again, thanks for the video and memories. Safe Travels!
Wow... just wow!
What an inspiring video. I was there 20 years ago, so seeing it again is just uplifting. I vowed to go back, so I hope this fall will be that trip. Thank you
Great video! The Arches part brought back great memories of last year! So cool to say we’ve been there! Safe travels!
Your videos are the best. You always give us thrills and chills. We are watching on 65” tv and it looks unbelievable! The picture, the music, well, I’m repeating myself again. Beautiful! Can’t wait for Part 3. Thank you Brian and Michelle. Stay safe and don’t get too close to those edges👍☀️😉
No wonder they want no one on top of the Arch. I had no idea. Wow...Fall off and go boom . I can't believe I didn't go there while traveling. It's absolutely Gorgeous!! Great video too .
The scenery just keeps getting better and better!
Living the life! Awesome awesome you two! Thank you. our country is magnificent!
Stunning video! Great job showcasing the beauty in a quick visit!
Another mesmerizing video with stunning footage!!!!! Gooood stuff guys!!!
👍😃🍻
I appreciate when you slow down footage so we can read the signs.
Beautiful! Thank you! Terrified of heights so am glad you took us here! 😮 Mrs. W. Love you both! ❤
We were there a couple of years ago. Pictures do not do it justice. Although they are beautiful, being there in person gives you a feeling that God is blessing you with a wonderful feeling.
Very nicely done! I do believe you are correct - even if you are short on time, visit anyway. The memories will last a lifetime. Oh, and your videography on this series was excellent! You might be on to a thing here with "weekend van life" video series.
Beautiful. I sure would like to make it out there again one day. Thanks for nicely edited video. The musical score was perfect.
The sunset at Canyonlands is a bucket list thing to do! Phenomenal! Dead Horse Point State Park is famous for ending scene of Thelma and Louise. Lots to do in Grand Junction Colorado too!!
Wow how majestic, and wonderfully curated. Can't wait til September when we get to make the trip yea....
Beautiful scenery. Thank you for a very pleasant start of my day! 😊❤
Your best video ever!!! Love the music!! It’s about time rv TH-camrs have more then black tank disposable!! Thanks!!
Wow! Just so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!!
The views! Wowza.
We visited there a couple years ago and so far it’s one of my most favourite places we’ve been to! We drove the Schafer Trail down into the canyon which was nerve wracking and spectacular at the same time! 😳
We missed you by 1 day! We were in Moab on 4/26-4/28. We rode our bikes down and up Shafer Rd in Canyonlands (where you filmed those bikers on the steep switchbacks) the day before you were there. Absolutely incredible experience. When you go back, make sure to hit Dead Horse Point State Park. It doesn’t get as much attention because of Arches and Canyonlands, but it sits right between the 2 and is amazing - especially at sunset. I so wish we would have seen and met you guys but maybe another time. Thanks again for all your videos and for letting us in on your adventures.
Yet another relaxing ride with Brian and Michelle. At the very beginning of the video when you started. It looked like a cow lying down when in fact it was a rock. 😂😂
Brings back some awesome memories! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for another awesome Video...❤
Fabulous video! The views along with inspirational music I found myself overcome by the the majesty of it all!...
Absolutely awesome video with awesome views. Thanks for taking us along.
Fabulous thank you so much. Safe travels
Beautiful, bucket list
Thanks for taking us down memory lane. Loved all those awesome places visited a few years ago. Beautiful video! ❤
Loved the video! ❤❤
That is absolutely insane to ban people from filming a sunrise. in a taxpayer funded national park? thats like saying you cant take a picture of the clouds. What is wrong with people, never heard of not being able to take a picture of a sunrise, what is the reasoning for this? How can that possibly be legal? I cant believe this.. what country is this in? N Korea? Great video though, have to add this place to my bucket list
Adding to this reply from Michelle: Some TH-cam channels are allowed to, for some reason the lady that signed our permit told “us” that it was too busy and she didn’t want to add to it during that timeframe. Sounded odd to me, but anytime you question anything with them, they treat you as if you’re being ridiculous. The National Parks are the ONLY place that have treated us this way, out of everywhere place that requires a filming permit. 🤷♂️
It’s a regulation that is old and was originally intended for film crews who have several people and lots of equipment but once people with TH-cam channels started filming, the NPs threw them in the same regulation even though most of the time it’s a channel like ours that is just 2 people using an iPhone and GoPro (just like any other tourist). Hoping they come to their senses and change it in the near future.
Because we have become afraid to exercise our 2nd amendment
I'm so glad you took the time and effort to film the Beautiful Land God gave us to ENJOY!! Stunning!! Great job
That was gorgeous and memorable. I've driven through that area but was unable to stop and tour. Just the drive was amazing.
Absolutely positively beautiful. Heaven on earth. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing adventure. ❤❤
Thank you for the most amazing beauty I have ever seen.
Wow! An excellent content presentation of beautiful parks in America!
Thank You Michele and Brian...gotta diesel pusher on the driveway all tuned up, hasn't moved in years
That was a nice video we spent 5 days in moab it was great. Seeing you their brought back alot of memories.
Absolutely gorgeous! ❤❤
I drove through Moab on my way from Oregon to Tennessee. Wish I could have spent more time in that area. It’s truly stunning, just the little bit I saw 😁
We definitely want to go back again sometime!
I always heard Utah was breathtaking, and wow it is beautiful!! Glad I’m not the only one that gets winded at inclines 😂🤣 safe travels!! 😁
In 2019 my wife and I drove the switchbacks in canyonlands shoes in your video across from the visitors center. We started just outside moab
I love Utah! I look forward to going back and spending time in the Moab area.
Definitely a beautiful place to visit
I wish I’d seen you and said hi
That was me in the four winds Chevy you filmed
Oh you should have said Hi 👋
Hey 👋 just an FYI, Do not take the Gretch RV to the Valley of the God's! Rent an awd car to see this gorgeous place!....just speaking from experience. "Crocs!" 😂
Just Beautiful 😍
Just love your videos. Can you all get mic, so I can hear you better. Keep safe out there. Keep those wonderful videos coming. God bless you both.
We do have mics but Brian wears it most of the time. And sometimes we don’t have them on if in a restaurant and we rely on the iPhone mic.
If you ever hit the Maverick in Minden NV my sister works there lol. At 70 she decided she was tired sitting at home so she went back to work she is now 72 last week ! Yes she is crazy 😂 but she makes the best breakfast burritos they wait in line !
If you want to get started on the passport books, you can get each park you've already visited to send you a correctly-dated stamp so you can catch up. My wife loves getting the passport stamps (and stickers)!
TÜRKİYEDEN İZLİYORUM. GÜZEL VİDEOLAR ÇEKİYORSUNUZ. TEŞEKKÜR EDERİM.
Another great presentation! I'm not sure what limiting people's ability to photograph and video is really all about. Even bloggers sure as yourselves are not selling your work, so as a tax payer; what's the deal? In addition, I wanted to say that actually being in these parks and taking in these expensive views was an emotional experience for me and a reaction that I truly was not expecting. Has anyone else had this reaction?
They are monetizing these videos but again who cares. This is our land and our government is out of control and wants to control everything. Unfortunately, it's past time for us to re-take that control.
Most definitely!
Don’t forget to stop at “THE STORE” ! Lol
😂
Beautiful images! Another state on our list to visit. You guys keep me dreaming about all the possible adventures we can go on once we get our Class B! What type of jackets/coats does Michele carry in the van with all the different seasons and climates you travel in ? Any specific brands or tips?
We both used to carry a winter coat with us stored away also but not anymore. Just what you see. That is about the limit for the coldest weather we try to be in. 😂 We need to get another jacket for those “just in case” moments. A packable jacket is always good because it can be packed down into a small ball, which some of them pack up into their own built in area.
Stunning photography! What camera do you use?
Love the "where are you going?" from Michelle. Sounds so familiar. 🤔😁 Michelle is a good navigator.
Mostly iPhone and GoPro’s and occasionally Sony camera.
There are actually 4 districts. You missed The River.
Then I guess the National Park needs to change their info on their website site.
I really really like the black hoodie that you’re wearing when you’re driving. What is the brand so I can search for my own?
It’s a Columbia PFG wind breaker.
@@LivinRVision sweet. Thanks guys. Keep following those crazy dreams!❤️
Why not just film, it’s not like they can stop everyone with an iPhone or GoPro. Just play dumb and say ‘huh, we can’t take photos?’
Because they know we have a permit and it is written specifically IN the permit and can fine us. People have been fined and it’s not a small fine.
THE DVD and USB media player box located around the front left top cabinet area. Are you able to Pause and play these video from the back TV without having the cabinet door open for the DVD player? Is your TV a Vizio? Thanks.
We have never used the DVD player because we either stream or watch live tv over the air.
The TV is a Vizio.
@@LivinRVision Do you have a usb drive? Like a thumb drive? The issue is also the same with playing video from a usb drive connected to the DVD player. Try taking any video, even one of your own youtube video, placing it in a usb drive and connecting it to the DVD player. Then with the door cabinet door closed to that dvd player, see if there is anyway on earth to play that video from the tv. My experience is that I can use the vizio remote to get to the video but unable to play/pause the video wtihout the DVD player that requires a direct line of sight with that cabinet door wide open. That door being open while driving might pose a saftey hazard. Could you please test this out? No DVD required, just any media file on a USB drive even if your own youtube clips will work. Thanks.
@martylynchian8628 sounds like you have already tested it, correct? Apparently it’s not a radio frequency remote.
I know Grech has mentioned taking it out completely on future models because their feedback is that hardly anyone uses a DVD player anymore since most people stream instead.
My advice would be to use a FireTV Stick which there are many ways to watch movies etc. We know how to use a thumb drive of course but we don’t have or ever use a thumb drive anymore nor do we have any DVDs, sorry. We use our FireTV. Sounds like you have already tested it though.
@@LivinRVision Grech said you are not required to have the door open to control the DVD player/play media. I have done everything possible to get this to work but can't The least you can do is spend 2 seconds to test it yourself and if you can't get it working, please be honest enough to let grech know that this does not work the way they say instead of advocating to spend hundreds or thousands on satellite internet equipment and monthly fees if a family who prefers to watch media on a usb stick. It's like you are trying to cover up a car not working that you are supposed to be testing out and telling people to "go get an Uber" when they ask you if you can get the car started. You got raw video footage from your camera, put it on a usb stick, plug it into the DVD player, close that door and see if you can get it working? No DVD even required for this test. If you figure out the secret to getting this working, then lets us all know, and you will be a hero.
I can't believe that you are not allowed to film some of Our National parks. Id had heard about the new law, except i thought it was for big companies..
You can film all you want as an individual and keep your footage for yourself. The new rule is to keep content creators (TH-camrs) from making money on their filming by using the parks for monitory purposes.
@slalomking I have been in contact with the person in charge and she sent me a copy of a change they are trying to pass so that TH-camrs (content creators) are not treated the same as commercial filmmakers and therefore won’t need a permit if it goes through. It has to do with the little money content creators make vs the big money commercial filmmakers make.
Brian, how long will it be before Michele can retire?
Probably when I do 😊
Did a Jeep trip there in 2019 with my son and grandson. We spent 3 days on the trails, awesome scenery. Our day at the arches was 100 degrees so we did not walk all the way to the arch. A great place for BBQ was the Blu Pig. 😎🥸🤓
Sounds like a great trip! We saw the Blu Pig but didn’t try it this time. See you guys soon! 😊🤓
