Hello everyone and happy downloading! Just a quick note to say that the books read per year book box won't work properly until 2 January 2020, as it runs off today's date in the formula and should say DIV/0 today.
Ahaha, I hope you enjoy using it! I said to Tom the other day that I have to make one for myself now as I'm so used to it so I think they'll pop up for a while yet!
I love your spreadsheets so much. I've been using them for 2 years now and this way of tracking your reading really showed me what I need to read more of and also that I can't keep spending so much money on books. My 2019 expenses were insane and I honestly wouldn't have noticed just how much money I spend on books if it wasn't for this spreadsheet. My wallet thanks you ;)
Thank you so much for doing the spreadsheet, it's fantastic every year! I have already set up mine based on the one from last year (since I'm super impatient and also I did customized it so it suits me perfectly) but I guess I'll merge any new additions with the old one. I found I've been pretty good with tracking my TBR. I've used some older version you had before and I went around all my bookshelves and put in all the books (or most of them, I have a large library and I'll probably need to add some more older books) and now I'm really good at adding every new book I get so it works really good for me.
I was so happy to see this video this morning when I checked for it, I started using your amazing spreadsheet last year and I am hooked. I absolutely love the statistics page too, it's the best! Thank you Sophie
Thank you soooo much, Sophie! On to the 4th year of using your spreadsheet to log my reading. I love it so much. Excited for this year's changes, especially the diversity and audiobook features. Happy new year, Sophie!
Oh hurrah! My new favourite thing on New Year’s Day! Thanks so much for the massive amount of work you put into this and for making it freely available to anyone who wants to benefit from using it. A real contribution to the community. 🙌👍 Wishing you a happy and healthy 2020. 🎉
Thank you so much Sophie. Appreciate your work on this SO much. Cannot wait to put it to use - I just finished up last year's and I love me that stats page (wish I could do this myself). Also, happy new year for you, Tom and the cats! x
Thank you, Sophie! Looking forward to the hacks. I managed to change my TBR count myself recently but I’m always afraid to do too much and break it, lol. Counting up a budget is about as far as my excel skillz get me. Happy New Year!
Wow this is so cool! It's going to take me some time to add in all the books that I've already read this year but this is awesome for tracking! Might not be the place to ask this, but i figured I'd give it a shot and if you don't see it oh well I still love your spreadsheet :) . When the new year rolls around, do you have to go into each formula and change the year or is there a way to change the formulas in bulk? Thanks again!!
Thank you for sharing this spreadsheet. I was using your last one in 2019 and I loved it. It was actually from that video that I got to know your channel, I'm not a particularly organised person and I hadn't been watching booktube much around that time so I was surprised that that video was recommended to me but it turned out to be the perfect thing. I've especially loved seeing an overview of which parts of the world the books I read are from. I hope you're having a great start to your 2020.
Hey, that's great to hear. That is a random recommendation hey, but sometimes life throws things that are useful at the best times. I hope you really enjoy using it in 2020 too :)
I used this last year and it was so enjoyable! So cool to see your progress and figure out what you read. For me I found out that I read very, very white and almost only western literature... So that will change for 2020!!
Thank you for this spreadsheet! I loved using your 2019 one, it works great alongside Goodreads and my book bullet journal. I love to see stats, and this makes it so easy!
Thank you so much for making and sharing this, I have loved using the spreadsheet these past two years and can't wait to get cracking on this! Also very thankful for the graph of publication date. xx
Hey Sophie, thank you so much yet again! This is my third year now using your spreadsheet! I always attempt to edit it myself and always make a mess hahaha. I wish I could donate to you in thanks, but for now I'll keep watching all of your videos and maybe donating will be in the cards next year

This is always one of my favorite videos of the year! I love using your spreadsheet! Though tbh I'm kind of still using the one from 2017 :D But I customised it so much you wouldn't recognise it. My favorite new years tradition is copying my favorite bits of the new spreadsheet into mine. This year I'll definitely get the audiobook tracking since I failed doing that last year. Anyway, if you'd like to see where I went with your template I'd be happy to sent it to you (very nerdy thing to offer but I thought you might be interested)
I am a new subscriber and am amazed at being able to use this wonderful tool. As I am new to using spreadsheets, I hope you do not mind answering my question. Is there a way that I can hide the row numbers in the page for Reading data? The first three rows are header and so my first book read is not in row 1 but in row 4. If I could hide the row numbers, i wont think i have read the number of books according to the row number. Better not to see the row numbers since I cannot remove row numbers on header rows.
Thank you for this! Haven't tracked my reading for a while so looking forward to getting back to it. Read my first book of the year and have inputted the data and the only part that doesn't seem to be working is the chart for the format section about the book. It looks like the chart is still showing the sample data rather than my one hardback so far. Thanks anyone for any help as to how to change this!
@@SophieIslington I managed to sort it, thanks. I had to deleted all the data but managed to have a fiddle and it somehow worked. Looking forward to tracking my books now 🙂
