Try This Scenic North Island Road Trip! | Tongariro National Park & Wellington | New Zealand Vlog

After five months of travelling, immersing ourselves in wonderful new places and cultures, there was admittedly something comforting about returning to Aotearoa for a quick intermission.
We loved connecting with friends and family over these three weeks, as well as scoffing down some iconic kiwi grub (shout-out to the humble Mince & Cheese Pie!)
In this video, we road trip down the scenic North Island, staying overnight in the gorgeous Tongariro National Park, hiking to a perfect spot to view Mt Ruapehu and venturing on to Wellington where we get our native bird fix at Zealandia Ecosanctuary. (Yep, there's a lot of nature in this one, folks!)
We’re so lucky to live in this small patch of the world, and it’s been a pleasure dropping in on Middle-earth at roughly the halfway point of our travels-now Europe, with all her history and sophistication (and pastries), beckons!! 🇳🇿🇪🇺
