The Rasmus songs are always to me like finally coming home. There are few songs I can't personally relate, but this does not mean, they're bad. It takes more than 2 or 3 times listening to go deep into the lyrics and finding myself there. And this is what I love so much - deep art things. All in all - we have grown up. Nobody thought The Rasmus would ever made 24 years. And here they are, playing Holy Grail in so much magnificence.
I love this song, it's so sad but it's true at the same time, in away, I have to live this world without my best friend now, and it's painful..it hurts after having a great time together.. 😔

So by being a fan you aren't allowed to have a preference and commentary on a band's newest work? What if, like Rasmus, a band leaves everything behind that made you like them in the first place? Should you still like them and what they're releasing just for the sake of the memories? Ofc there's gonna be people who fell in love with their music during the Dead Letters and Hide From The Sun era that can't relate or simply don't like their new pop sound, like me. I'm still a fan, just a fan of their older stuff, who won't want to listen to the newer stuff. And that doesn't make my opinion less valid than yours that blindly follow a band through all their changes.
I totally agree! They have gone from very different styles over the course of the years but if you give it some time and really listen to the songs as a whole, you can only appreciate what they make. Not many bands shift from styles over the years and just play what/how they like but The Rasmus, for me, is definitely one of them! All I miss now is a Piano Album of their piano versions of songs, which are translated so nicely from their original score its amazing. I hope some day they'll blow my/our mind with such an album and hopefully new piano styled songs!

I was 8 when I first saw 'In The Shadows' MV on TV, but when I became older I've heard 'Justify' and these song are trully made me who I am now. I went trough dark times with your songs, I went through gothic period and depression, losses and pain, but now I'm here, with my 23, and I feel like I'm different now, and it's warmth my heart to see that you guys are became different too. It's okay to move forward, to grow up, to change, because every people in this world have its bad and good times, so it's painfull to see the comments like 'oh it's not my style anymore' or 'oh it's not that hard than it was before i don't like it now'. Yeah, I miss the old 'dark' times too, but time keeps going on, and I'm so proud to see 'The Rasmus' now, at this place, with these songs and these vibes. They've changed, but these changes are amazing. For now this is the music I want listen to. Not that hard, yeah. But when you're listening to it for the biggest part of your life already, you just don't think about this. Love hasn't change at all. It's still too deep and truly, to say that this music is not okay. Lyrics, sound, atmosphere...I adore this from the bottom of my heart. I've been a rasmus fan since 2003, even have a tattoo dedicated to them and I'm still mesmerized by each n every song from 'dead letters' , 'hide me from the sun' and 'black roses'. But even though they have changed such a big deal since then n i miss how they used to be, Lauri's voice makes a even non rock song so good that I'm compelled to like it and will keep loving whatever they produce. Either hard rock or electro/pop. Will always be a fan of you guys.
I will admit the 1st time I heard this song I wasn't sure how I felt about it. Now I absolutely love it! I've been a fan for almost 15 years. They just keep getting better and better. People have said their new stuff isn't as good or as dark as hide from the sun or dead letters. I think they have evolved in such a great way. Even their stuff before dead letters is amazing. I really wish they would tour in America again.

The Rasmus have evolved so much over the years I have listened to them. Yes, this is more pop. But being from the UK this goth pop sound is still so refreshing and I love hearing it. Their new sound has grown on me alot and I love Lauri's 'New World' solo album too. That's the stuff they want to write now. I'm going with it! Can't wait for Nottingham UK!

Really good song! Fresh and deep :) I love this ability of The Rasmus to bring us new sounds. We fans all would like to listen a little more "dead letters" style but life moves on! (I think to myself that if I would be one member of the band for sure i would not like to play the same music style all my life.) Another amazing masterpiece from Rasmus. I am listening to them from the beginnings so many years ago and even though they evolved in those years and slightly changed things here and there, they continue to make songs that are simply amazing. Holy Grail for me is one of the best songs i've heard this year. Thank you Rasmus for being here for so long and making awesome music :) Greetings from Czech Republic

It's not the dark rocky song i've wanted. Miss the "Dead Letters" and "Hide From The Sun" era, but as alwais, you got me in, the chorus is catchy as hell, and have a dark and sad mood. Love you and your music. (sorry for my bad english).
