There’s obviously a tremendous amount of precise planning, fit testing, and repair that happens off screen. I mean, that bracket that he used to mount the reel to the wall wouldn’t last a week as typically used. Maybe longer if I glided around my shop handling my tools as gently and slowly as he does. But his videos just obviously don’t depict the whole story. The type of person with this amount of time to invest in design and planning probably isn’t going to be making their own tools. Love his videos though 😂
i bought a garden hose reel from the hardware store and just adapted it for my 30m hose cost me $14 for the reel and $1 for the ring to seal the hose, has lasted me 20 plus years so far, aluminium and plastic so it is light, too light in fact as it moves around when i reel the hose in, or pull the hose out

Nice build... But i think, the reel need some kind of "brake". Otherwise the hose will go crazy, when the operator is pulling too enthusiastic... xD thanks for uploading...stay save, my friend..

What use is a project like this when the component critical to its use, the "swivel elbo", is unavailable, except perhaps in Japan! I have made an exhaustive internet search, and have been unable to find such a component. I intend to design my own air hose reel which can be made with commonly available components. Whilst the reel is well made, what value is it on TH-cam when it cannot be made! I also noticed that questions asked are never responded to by JSK-koubou.
@@miguelgem8085 I found several on Amazon that is a 90 degree but also one that is 90 degree with a 360 swivel. I tried posting the link here but my posts are not displaying.

Plenty of companies make battery powered air compressors.. the same companies make battery powered tool versions of pneumatic tools

I had and have the same problem, can’t find the 90 degree swivel for a decent price.
