In a recent study based on several factors (most notably natural disasters), the Philippines was chosen as the world's most dangerous country. How ironic then that to me at least, I find it to have the world's most friendly people. I am not surprised Finn that you have enjoyed the hospitality of the locals during your visit. Let's hope as a result of your trip, more people choose Batanas as a vacation destination so the people can enjoy the fruits of tourism. They deserve it. When I see those stone homes, I'm reminded of the great quote from the character Rocky Balboa "You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!” and I think we can all agree, based on what we have seen from your videos this week, the lack of crime, the beauty of the country, the smiles of its citizenry, the great food....typhoons be damned, these people are winning.

It seems like watching National Geographic Channel. Nice shot with your drone. That was really done by a professional, it was beautiful and I’ll watch it again and again. I always comment to Batanes vlogs that the Ivatans are the kindest and humblest people in the Philippines and their kindness is genuine that the first thing that always comes to my mind is that I hope they'll not get influenced by the people, especially from Manila 😋.

that sleepy province of Batanes is the safest part of the Phils ... i remember being there with my family almost worrying nothing except traveling with my co- tourist ....... people are really friendly even those Policemen , who have nothing to do all day , hahahaha .... taken pictures with them and those tricycle boys who are tourist guide also .... the only problem , besides internet are batteries for my drone , my cellphone cam, and memory cards ..... there is no ending in capturing those views .....
I remember the last time my friends and I visited Batanes, we find it almost difficult to find a terrible spot coz almost everywhere is Instagram-worthy.

In a good way ... the feeling of serenity, peace and joy in me was too much for my system to handle that it has to come out of me in a form of tears ! Tears of joy of course ! The only other Vlogger that made me feel this way was Kulas in Mindanao. Yes the drone shots left me breathless and emotional ! I can’t believe such pure beauty exist in the Philippines be it nature or people ! I have traveled globally but I was in awe truly by BATANES !!! Loved the drone footage! Batanes really looks different. It doesn't look like you're in the Philippines. The friendliness and honesty there is legendary. I heard the locals don't even lock their doors. And the other reason for that is that during typhoons, if people need to find a safe shelter, they can come in anytime. Amazing! I wish the whole Philippines is like that. 🤙

They are called dwarfed coconut trees. Easy to fetch those coconuts, all u need is about 5-6 steps folding ladder.

that sleepy province of Batanes is the safest part of the Phils ... i remember being there with my family almost worrying nothing except traveling with my co- tourist ....... people are really friendly even those Policemen , who have nothing to do all day , hahahaha .... taken pictures with them and those tricycle boys who are tourist guide also .... the only problem , besides internet are batteries for my drone , my cellphone cam, and memory cards ..... there is no ending in capturing those views .....

Your video made me so emotional ! In a good way ... the feeling of serenity, peace and joy in me was too much for my system to handle that it has to come out of me in a form of tears ! Tears of joy of course ! The only other Vlogger that made me feel this way was Kulas in Mindanao.

I have traveled globally but I was in awe truly by BATANES !!! The scenery paired with your majestic music evoked such emotion in me that I couldn’t even believe that I was literally crying watching it ! Kudos to you Finn ! I just saw the other day, the Camiguin dives or was it Palawan ? ( recent one ) So Discovery channel or NatGeo worthy ! Loved the drone footage! Batanes really looks different. It doesn't look like you're in the Philippines. The friendliness and honesty there is legendary. I heard the locals don't even lock their doors. And the other reason for that is that during typhoons, if people need to find a safe shelter, they can come in anytime. Amazing! I wish the whole Philippines is like that. 🤙
