@KAG - That was me when they sent the blitz without text(as pictured on the site). FYI for anyone that orders. you must place in the notes that you want the text printed on it. I learned the hard way so you don't have to. Paid twice lol. Still my favorite cab in my collection.

Its not too difficult to build, the software part of it was probably the easiest in this case. I'm not all that handy so cutting up a brand new Arcade1Up was scary.
I had no idea! Someone else linked to the adapter for it. I think the other biggest issue is fitting it into the limited space under the deck. I already have to cut some of the base off of regular Happ sticks.
I was using on board graphics for all but I needed dual HDMI out for streaming/capturing so I picked up some GT 710s. I don’t even count it as a graphics card since it’s hardly an improvement LOL. But the Star Wars has a GT 1030. I plan to buy a couple more of those 1030s but the graphics card shortage is stopping that.

I hope that KI will be a big hit. I’m a little worried about the cabinet design after seeing the legacy cabinet issues. I hope they figure it all out first. Thanks Monke Man!
Till this day I dream one day I can get MK4 Arcade perfect either for the present console PS5/Xbox Series X or on a Arcade1up if they decide to make one
My hopes are MAME will one day get it working fully OR Arcade1Up will hire Code Mystics to work out the rest of the emulation so they can release all 4 in a cabinet.
You might not have the most machines but each one you have has alot of thought and work behind it. Some need a few small tweaks but overall, you got some great stuff.
Thank Zach! I really love these cabinets. I was worried I’d be drawn more to the real cabinets after buying one. But I appreciate both. The size of the A1U cabs are so much more practical for home use. I’m starting to get pretty discouraged about those Sinden guns, they keep getting delayed!
Thanks Gunnar! My Revolution X was played on the CarnEvil cabinet. If I had the room, I'd build a dedicated Rev X cab but I'm so limited on space now lol.
Well, I wish that was a real feature lol. I sat under the cabinets with the wireless keyboard and manually selected them just to make this video. I don't know why its not a feature in Launchbox yet. I assume they could do it relatively easy with a software update.
Great video! Can you tell me the make and model of that EGA to HDMI converter board? I have a Showtime/Blitz PCB I’d like to put in an Arcade1Up NBA Jam cabinet.
Really like the CarnEvil cabinet. I wish I could buy a kit or a cabinet that was cut like that so I could use a larger screen. Also would be cool if there was a way to mount a lightweight lightbox on top of the screen for the marquee.
I’m already ahead of you lol. I looked in there the other day and it’s sagging so I’m going to at the very least move it to the side wall. I can’t seem to find any other mounts online. It’s all those plastic feet.
Where do you go for the plexiglass and cutting tools/technique to fit the buttons/joysticks? Just picked a multi arcade and need some restoration. Thanks for any help!
The plexiglass comes on these cabinets. I've heard people go to Lowes and have them cut the pieces they need. I've only had to drill through the plexiglass on my Star Wars cabinet. I used a regular hole saw bit but we taped the area heavily so it wouldn't fracture. We just went slow and let the bit do the work. This is the hole saw bit I use for drilling button holes: amzn.to/3v3oTy0
I’m curious, do I need to mod the Arcade 1Up? Do you have information on how to create a cabinet that wasn’t offered in the Arcade? I’d like to make a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past cabinet.
You don't have to mod them, they are fully playable as they come out of the box. But changing it to another cabinet would require a PC or Raspberry Pi (Don't use a Pi for higher end arcade games like Killer Instinct, CarnEvil, etc) If you want to do a Zelda cabinet, you could just install a video controller board to change the monitor to HDMI input, put the console inside and then change the art if you want to...you don't have to change the art though.
The emulation needs work and I assume they weren’t interested in investing the money. Especially since people aren’t in love with MK4. If they had added it with online play, I’d buy the cab just for that haha
Amazing collection of modded arcade1up cabinets. Some of these like the Blitz and MK4 i dont think i have seen a close up view on them before. impressive work.

Just came across your channel. Love it! Can't wait to watch all your posts. Quick question, what are you using for video cards in the pc? Are you emulating anything besides MAME?
All of my cabinets except for Star Wars are just the stock on board graphics cards. You don't need a lot of GPU power to emulate MAME games. It primarily uses the CPU. But, my Star Wars cab uses a GT 1030 low profile. The main reason for the I have Teknoparrot games on there, which are modern arcade game emulation and those need a graphics card.
