What’s better Parkland or Coral Springs for raising a family?
Both are great cities! I will say that Parkland is more desirable for those that have been living here and know Coral Springs and Parkland. Better schools in Parkland but more things to do in Coral Springs. If I had my pick, I'd choose Parkland.
Folks, if you have young kids, do your research on the high schools here. Moved to Coral Springs in 97 and the public schools have gone down. Coral Springs High School and JP Taravella were A schools compared to now. Not the best. MS Douglas is still a great school but if you live in South Coral Springs, you will be out of the school district. If you can afford the 700k/800k home prices 4/2 in the Maplewood aisles and a few South neighborhood sections then I presume you can send your kids to private schools. Coral Springs is a beautiful city but definitely has some catching up to do on education. Cheers and good luck searching.
Very well said. I grew up in South Coral Springs and went to Taravella c/o 2002. Things have changed but CS is still a great place to live.

I moved to Coral Springs Florida eleven years ago and after careful investigation I decided to retire to the Greenville , South Carolina area. What you will find up and down the coast of Florida is that it has turned into a concrete jungle, not fir for a comfortable existence, combined with a bleak future going forward. Sorry, just be warned, I know what I'm talking about from first hand experience.
